Mko123:Sometimes, you people should dump this your regional war and segregation mentality and do some intellectual thinking. This is a project for Nigeria to sell its gas to more European countries and cash out more than ever. This will also appreciate our naira in value. What you should fear for is whether Nigeria will utilize the cash proceeds effectively to develop the country and settle our foreign debts. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

rusher14:The money should be put to use on development and benefit citizens not 1 person just like deizani pocketing 60 billion dollars from crude oil and ran away from Nigeria. See how UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia Dey very developed you know like Nigeria to fine like that. |

Slimm01:The crude oil they sold for how many years, was the funds utilized yet will keep taking loans, no single working refinery. Over $600 Billion has been looted out of this country just for nothing, money that will have given Nigerians steady electricity , top notch security and robust economy just ending in some groups of corrupt Nigerians. 2 Likes |

brandsoncharlie: Diezani stole but couldn't have stolen 60 billion dollars because even Nigeria didn't make 60 billion dollars in one year. I always tell people to try to analyse things. UAE produces 3.7 million barrels of oil a day. Nigeria produces 1.8 million barrels of oil a day. UAE Population - 10 million. Nigeria Population - 200 million. In other words, the average UAE citizen is entitled to 37 dollars a day if oil was sold at 100 dollars a barrel and everything was profit. In Nigeria, the average Nigerian would be entitled to 1 dollar a day if using the same parameters. This is outside of the issue of Christian/Muslim, Northern/Southern problems that we create for ourselves. If we don't tell ourselves the truth, we'll never get anywhere. 3 Likes |

oluseyiforjesus:.. If it they can actualize it it'll be the best investment of any administration putting Nigeria on the world map. But my issue here is the funding, how long it'll take if actually they intend to build this and the security concern in the sahel (those pipes would be vulnerable) |

yang: Both are important buy funding may be the problem. The best way may be to export has and invest the proceeds in productive ventures across the country to drive the economy, unlike what we did with crude oil - export crude, import petrol and other derivatives, pay subsidy and share the money. |

rusher14: Nigeria is more than 200 million despite low value for life among citizen and government. I won't be surprise if Nigeria and India has little difference in population. But we are too broke to conduct a census that will reach all angle. We still have ungoverned communities in Nigeria. 2 Likes |

Kurutinto: Nobody would mind had it been we were all in a fair, just and equitable country where all regions/ethnicities can control/own their own resources and use them to develop at their own pace! In a scenario like that, Ndigbo…or any other southern ethnicity wouldn’t mind if say 50% of their resources goes for the overall good of the country or is used for affirmative action in developing less-advantaged regions/ethnicities! As it is now, Ndigbo are having their God-given resources raped and stolen by a medieval-minded and hateful hegemony who believe they OWN Nigeria and all resources within it, and who believe Ndigbo are inferior to them and 2nd-class citizens! Evidence of this can be seen in all facets of national economic and political life! |
