Chilwell is lacking sharpness, this is the exact type of game to get him into rhythm ahead of the season.

he was fantastic last match too despite coming second half

Sterling, Kante and Jorginho have been good in this first half atleast. We could do with a bit better positioning at times, one of the central defenders should step up alot earlier whenever there is danger behind our midfield pairing. No need to run back with all 3 defenders and leave a huge gap between midfield and defence. Our wingbacks could improve as well, not really exploited the space they have been given at times, Alonso in particular.

You just don’t know the importance of combative dm in a 2-man midfield.
