The multiple lengthy injury really held the bros back, Before the first one at betis he was using explosiveness to dribble and run into channels minus his huge confidence and shooting accuracy, That boy just has to gain his confidence back slowly to be our barça's future leader

Lewandoski was better positionally with his link up with the wingers also decent yesterday, Though I think he should at least scored one of those chances, we can't also deny the two new york rb GKs were fantastic, Once that Bobo finds the back of the net he'll pick up from there afterall the service is there, I love the way he was not really frustrated after missing them as he knows they'll still come in bulk, He should just continue to adapt, Even the great El Pistolero found the back of the net after 8 matches

If you watched our game against Juve and saw how porous that RB was when Dest and Sergi Roberto played, you'll see those ones cannot be playing for us in a competitive game.

Against Vardrid, Araujo played again as RB and also caged Vinicius.

It is obvious we cannot be playing two attacking fullbacks. As LB attacks more, then our RB should be much stronger in defending.

This is where I welcome the idea of Araujo or Kounde playing there. They both play in this position for national team.

So I don't know where you're getting your overthinking talks from.

He's pretty good but dishing it to a player that hasn't given us a consistent season with brilliant performance was a rash move. Pedri gave us more than a season-long brilliance and still waited for 2 seasons before getting the no.8

More so, the pressure from injuries sef and eagerness to always want to perform might kinda slow him. Right now, he doesn't deserve it and there's nobody in the team that does.

If it's for solely defending purpose, then Araujo matches up but typical Barcelona RBs are not like that. Watch that there was a convincing range of play offensively when Roberto came on yesterday. I don't like him in the RB position because he's just not it defensively. But you check our fluid our attack was because he knew the right runs to make.

Maybe Kounde can be the guy but it definitely shouldn't be Araujo. There's more to him as a CB than the RB.

Pep will never play a RB that's poor offensively. The only time he tried it was against Madrid, first leg and we saw how bad it turned out to be.

The worst thing to happen to Fati is to pick up an injury in preseason and he knows this so why play at full speed and it's not that his performance has been bad...very ok performance... he's just enjoying his game

A typical Barcelona RB you say? Who is a typical Barcelona RB? And what has that gotten us in the last 7 to 8 years? Not everyone will be Dani Alves.

And remember the Dani Alves time, we usually played Eric Abidal as a LB, who is not very good offensively but more defensively and it worked wonders for us. We almost won 3 back to back UCL if not for Inter milan.

Since we switched to both attacking right back (Dani Alves) and attacking left back (Jordi Alba), what have we won actually? Only one UCL and plenty destructions in big stages.

With all due respect to Pep, having two attacking fullbacks have not won him anything in UCL yet. Kyle Walker is even very good defensively. Very fast and also very good attacking.

We don't have such profile in our team. Dest and Sergi roberto are both wacky defensively. Also very average attacking.

For me, if we cannot get Azipicuelta, then Araujo should play there in big games like Vardrid or UCL matches.

Most notably, it is so for most fans, especially at an elite team like barca. Psg doesn't have Barca's fanbase and only a little is expected of them, even with the whole heavyweight they parade.

But Barca fans would be looking to see their next number 10 perform wonders match in, match out.. Because that's what they've been used to for the last 15 years. Hence the importance.

I know everyone hailed that decision and we all wished Ansu Fati well in the no 10 shirt, but now everyone dey change mouth just because the kid had a downturn in fitness.

Maybe the added pressure because the team underperformed last season, but that does not mean to say he does not deserve it.

What we all should wish him is to come back to the level we all know he can reach. The club did not make a mistake. Y'all are not wiser than the club. In time, Ansu will show us all that it wasn't a mistake.

As for me, I will always hope he reaches the level expected of a Barca's number 10. There is no better player in the squad to bet for that lofty position than Ansumane Fati.

Roberto is really good attacking-wise. He can do everything needed to be done but you see defensively, that's his achiles heel.
