I am not sure Owo Massacre would have happened if SW Nigeria had State or regional policing that is, first anf foremost, driven by patriotic indigenes and modern intelligence crime prevention and detection every State or region is free to embrace so they can bypass the corruption, ineptitude and compromise of the moribund Nigerian Police force that remains partisan tools of the Presidency, federal Government, AGF etal.

We can all fight about who is superior between Obi, Tinubu, Atiku etal but what we must not lose sight of is the fact that all those men will fail if they cannot commit to restructuring the fundamental governance structure and constitution of Nigerian that has kept us failing and will alway doom us to failure, suffering and under-development

Marwa and Jakande had their time. Leadership is a continuous process so long as leaders will lead, leave the stage and even die to be replaced by others as Jakande has now passed.
Will you go and clone Jakande to bring him back as Governor of Lagos or will you accept others must replace him and be judged according to their efficacy in the era they lead under?

While Jakande etal did their bit, it was Tinubu that made Lagos the 6th biggest economy in Africa and the only State in Nigeria, even ahead of the politically cash-rich Abuja, that can survive indefinitely without federal crude allocation.

A genuinely objective person would have no problem acknowledging that fact and giving Tinubu credit for his achievements post the Marwa and Jakande era.

Whereas it is very obvious why you Igbos continue to insist the leadership of Lagos is about Marwa and Jakande, now dead, rather than giving Tinubu any credit for his sterling stewardship of a State now regarded as the best and most exemplary in Nigeria of today.
