Well, frankly speaking, i detest the choice of Dumfries and Ake. Going back for our former players is always a no for me.

In addition, Perisic and Bisouma transfer came too early; when we were still battling with Granovskia and administrative structure. So, i will implore you to take that away from your lips.

However, i strongly belief Cucurela is a quality player and addition for us.

Frenkie De Jong as well, he is a complete midfielder. Someone capable of bringing smooth transition in our play and neutralise midfield pressure. He is an expert in your usual phrase 'press resistant'.

Gvardiol, i cannot say much, but to a certain extent, a suitable addition.

I don't believe defenders are more expensive than forwards except when Tuchel is bidding. That's my principle criticism, placing value on cheap positions. Forward is a skill that takes lots of practice and expertise. Defence, any fast, strong player with a little technique can do it.

Below are under 23 French centrebacks alone. How many Raphinas can you create a montage of at the same level. Demand and Supply dictates there are many centrebacks that can do a job but hardly anyone that can replicate Raphinha job at that price.
