There's no equity and fairness in Nigeria, just power rotation btw the marauding Fulanis and the cowardly cunny Yorubas.
If yar'a dua didn't die, ijaw man wouldn't have been there, but perhaps Obasanjo knew better why he chose Jonathan as v.p back then.
But the bottomline is some same Yoruba clan that allowed the fulani to take control of Kwara state in the past are the same descendents dialoguing diabolically with the very Fulani invaders to rotate power now.
Imagine Tinubu snub Christians in broad day light and some same christians are still singing his praise and walking working for him to be president.
You know the situation is been bad for the masses before, it will be worst for the so called Christians.
They think the Israelites didn't fight and defend themselves in their holy book.
Let's wait and see how they become wailers over and over again if Tinubu wins

I have been of this opinion for awhile...you don’t have to vote for Tinubu but anyone voting for Atiku especially southerners should do a self-reflection especially if northern dominance at the presidential level bothers them and they believe in power sharing!

Don’t cry wolf if Atiku emerges after voting for him and he spends another 8 years as the president which is the likely scenario to play-out ,if PDP rated the southerners in their fold they won’t have handed their ticket to the flip flopping atiku on a platter!

So why did SE delegates not vote for their region's candidates in APC and PDP primarieshuh
Very good question, sir!

They always pour their venom on APC, PDP, FG, Buhari, Tinubu BUT almost always fail to hold their tribal and regional leaders accountable for their failures..

Did u just mention "tribalism"? ...Talking about that , Igbo people are the most tribalistic people in Nigeria cos you believe you are saints , others are sinners . To you, Hausa people are bad , Yoruba people are bad , then you can come to their land and do business . You can even become part of the decision making organs of their states without wahala , how many tribes have you given political posts or appointments in the east ? Your people can't be agitating for secession and you expect me to vote for your kind , it's an easy way to break away. I will rather vote for someone who is a unifier and has clear vision on how to make things better ...Tinubu is a nation builder , a visionary leader who understood how to nurture good leaders too ..He has a clear understanding of the diversity of the Nigerian people. He is the first governor to give out political appointments to Igbo , Hausa and others during his reign. He has a pastor as a wife , he is no religious or ethnic bigot. He believes in intelligence and competency. The only governor whose legacy is still alive despite not holding any political office for 16 years . Hausa , igbo, Yoruba and others love Jagaban. The youths who were kids during Tinubu's reign wouldn't know much . They don't even know he was instrumental in the enthronement of the democracy we enjoy today. Where was Obi when Tinubu and others fought one of the most dreadful millitary head of state to a stand still? You people are babies...You are just judging the man with Buhari's performance which is wrong. Tinubu is different and I know as the campaigner and fighter for true democracy practice , he will do wonders
Arysexy:
Your problem is tribalism. You will rather vote a devil to ruin the country so you can spite the Igbos.

So your people don't call Igbos name? We have not forgotten how your like descended on Igbos after GEJ lost election in 2015. You taunted them and called them all manner of names, when Buhari started his anti Igbo policies, and Igbos complain, you shut them up , call them wailers, 5% etc you claim they can't reap in govt they didn't vote, forgetting that democracy is not winner takes it all. Today this is where your vote to pepper Igbos have landed Nigeria.

I'm not begging you to vote for anyone from SE but to clear you on the wrong misconception you penned down

Tinubu was not the only one that fought the military.

Those that fought during the Nadeco days have all retired from politics BC of age. Tinubu will never be Nigeria's President, not after all we passed under another old man Buhari.

Tinubu is already suffering dementia due to age. He should leave power for young ones. What's the use of raising politicians like Fashola, Osibanjo only to be dragging elective position with them when he should be resting and playing advisory role

We can't afford to elect another ancestor that will be frequenting UK on medical tourism while the country burns and remain on auto pilot.

We need energetic and agile, smart and competent President and Peter Obi ticks all the boxes. You can reject him bc of tribalism but many Nigerians will vote for him.

Old age is your only weapon to axe him. How old is Biden of US? It's not about age , it's about wisdom. No one rules a nation with strength or being energetic. Ruling or managing people's destinies requires wisdom not strength... Obi doesn't have that. It's not about cutting cost and it's not about keeping people's money in a personal account to yield interest ..First and foremost , Nigeria need a developmental template to build on. Nigeria needs a leader who thinks future so before a problem occur he already provided the solution ....Tinubu thinks future , he's a master strategist...His long term vision is what is yielding fruits for Lagos state...See what he made of lekki Atlantic zone. He is a job creator. He created LAWMA, LAMATA, LASAA from nowhere . Nobody thought of that before him..See what he made oshodi , race course , oyingbo look like and many more ...You can't hate that guy ...Anyone who hate Tinubu should have his brain examined...I don't care if he's old or not , Nigeria need his magic at the centre , we need his intelligent brain ...Obi is a good man no doubt but Tinubu is light years ahead in terms of good governance

What the man of God mean is that;
North have ruled for 8yrs it's the turn of the South
Muslim have ruled for 8yrs it should be the turn of Christian.

IF RELIGION DOESN'T MATTER THEN REGION SHOULDN'T MATTER.

Since PDP failed to Zone it to the South and APC failed to give it to a Southern christian, let's settle the matter by VOTING LABOUR PARTY whose candidate meets all criteria.

I already realised since 2015 that (I dare say) most Nigerians are wicked, selfish, unenlightened plus infested with poverty-induced thinking.

Can such a country reach its potential despite having a massive population and quite a number of great people?

I seriously doubt that!

Adonispco:
Honestly speaking; what that man said is the truth;
In 2015 Atiku and other Northerner left PDP cos they believed that GEJ didnt follow the rule of power rotation between North and South; Even OBJ made sure that GEJ didnt achieve his 2nd term bid cos of power rotation; Adamu Muazu then PDP chairman betrayed GEJ cos of their belief in power rotation.
Now 2023 about to happen; Shettima the Boko haram and Chibok Girls abduction chief conspirator; Atiku Abubuakar;Kwankwaso are about to seek the support of Niger Delta region.
Truely what goes around comes around; PDP made Tinubu took that dangerous decision of picking same faith running mate so as to get muslims votes cos Tinubu knows fully well that He is not accept in South South and their Eastern companion.
APC trying to stop PDP from winning the North left the christian minority there to be total annihilated.
From my gathered info; PDP and APC desperately want power and not about the well being of this nation.
think wike is trying (if he get sense to think what people are thinking) to distance away southern Pdp members from Atiku ambition because power rotation agreement was the reason obj mentioned at eagle square in 2006 as head of state for denying Odili and co power in favor of yaradua

The North-North succession being championed by PDP is far worse than Muslim-Muslim ticket because it clearly says that the entire Southern region are born slaves and can be lorded over in perpetuity. It is capable of splitting the country down the middle and sending it asunder…..to thy tents O’Israel. cool cool

So enacting laws for refuse disposal etc is what made him great?

Let me tell you this. Even a goat will appear to be working in Lagos BC the state has advantage of tax remittance being a former capital of Nigeria whereby all multinational companies, Oil companies, Bank headquarters, Port authority, etc remit taxes. There is nothing much to be done in Lagos other than creating enabling environment. Majority of the roads in Lagos are federal roads, almost 70% of bridges and flyover in Lagos were built by federal government especially the military.

What Lagos govt does is resurfacing of roads. Tinubu did not build a single bridge in Lagos.

He raised lagos IGR when OBJ seized Lagos fund, that was BC he was pushed and after raising them, what did he achieve?

Fashola was d Governor that did tangible thing in Lagos, Ambode tried but he was not allowed to continue.

You can't be comparing Lagos and Anambra BC they don't have same advantage. Even Rivers is presently doing far better than Lagos, but Lagos earns far more than Rivers.

What criteria are you judging Anambra with Lagos?

Peter Obi inherited a bastardised state left In coma by the worst Governor in Anambra called Mbadinuju, but he left the state better, improvement in education, built roads, state university teaching hospital, handed over schools to missionary which improved the standard, cleared backlog of pension arrears etc. Built super 10 lanes high way from Onitsha bridge to Umunya, built fly overs like new parts Nkpor and bridges without borrowing. Anambra became the least indebted state during his time due to prudence.

He left billions for the incoming Governor to hit the ground running, showing he never had the intention to loot the state.

Yes!
I'm shocked when some people claim Atiku is an option. Atiku and the PDP are not an option as far as the 2023 Presidential election is concerned. An Atiku win is an obvious defeat for equity and fairness just as much as a Tinubu win.
We all might be alarmed by the all-Muslim ticket of the APC, but the fact remains that Atiku is a bigger religious bigot than Tinubu.
Fortunately, Atiku is a paperweight politician who is certainly going to lose his polling unit as usual, so it's understandable that Obidients are firing their weaponry majorly in the direction of the Lagos landlord.
A Christian President should succeed a Muslim President.
A Southerner should succeed a Northerner.
Peter Obi is the next President of Nigeria.
All these rubbish u dey write no dey inside the construction. U lack understanding if u call atiku a paper weight politician,
Every political party wants to win in the election and they all have to come with their strongest team Peter rode on the shoulder of atiku into national politics in 2019, but today he feels he can win the general election without the support of a team , I laugh. Let me leave you with this.
I assure you , tinubu will not loose a single local government in the entire southwest., Keep this as a memory verse.
Re: Rev Oluoma: Do Not Vote For PDP If You Believe In Equitable Power Rotation by Ijoba85: 6:37pm On Aug 02, 2022
You are being bias with your assertions. Please Google Tinubu's achievements in Lagos when he held sway. You are not being objective , bro. So, are you telling me Tinubu didn't achieve anything ? The lekki Atlantic zone was conceived by him.. Then you talked about increment of the IGR as a child's play. It requires deep thinking to even achieve that. You said it was because of taxes being remitted by multinational companies that give Lagos money , agreed but what happens when those monies are being embezzled and nothing is done? If you lived in Lagos before 1999 , what could you possibly be proud of in Lagos as the former federal government territory , nothing other than old giant structures on the island. Did you know how oshodi looked like? What about oher commercial centers within the state ? It only takes vision to turn things around. And talking about Fashola , Ambode and co , who brought them in? Mind you , they worked based on the developmental template of Asiwaju and which is still being used till date...What do you take from the action by 12 northern governors that supported the shift of power to the south ? Has that ever happened before for northerners who are known to hold on to power against others relinquish power to the south when we all know such is not obtainable in the 1999 constitution and no written agreement backed that up ? And queuing behind a man in the person of Asiwaju , everywhere he goes , they are with him speaking good of him. There must be something unique about that man. Why are northerners interested in Tinubu replicating the magic he used in turning things around in Lagos at the centre? If Obi's model of governance was so good during his tenure , why is there nobody copying such model? Baba, Tinubu is a game changer , a lover of true democracy , he's going to perform wonders , I know so

In politics, there's just the interests of a few who try to determine the fate of the many. APC Tinubu's interests was solely to inherit Buhari 's Northern votes as he felt Northern Muslims don't consider Southern Muslims as genuine Muslims. So, if Northern Muslims don't trust Southern Muslims, how does Tinubu expect Christains to trust him or Muslim rule?

PDP did same. You agree on rotation to the South but yet, can't keep to the deal.

Now, the election is highly divided along religious and regional lines.

Whether you like it or not, these interests of TInubu and Atiku created the political tension in the country and if managed properly, will propel Obi to victory.

Don't mind them. When Nigeria was operating strict regional governments, was competence not found in every region?
Nigeria is a forced amalgamation of many countries so one section cannot claim competence over the others.
The funny thing is that the section of the country claiming more competence are the ones that are afraid to allow Nigeria to restructure, split or operate true federalism!
