The Nollywood actors according to the Actors Guild of Nigeria a few days ago where kidnapped on their way back from a filming location.

The abductors also demanded the ransom of $100m of which the Actors Guild of Nigeria insisted they do not have such money in possession.

However, just few hours ago,the Actors regained their freedom from their abductors who were said to be touched by the spirit of God.

According to the Actors Guild of Nigeria:

This is to gladly inform the public that the kidnapped actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel Agbogidi have been released unhurt.

The elated National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ejezie Emeka Rollas announced their release by the abductors who were touched by the spirit of God to set them free and unharmed.
The Guild has arranged for medical checks and psychological support for the victims.
On behalf of their families, the National President expressed our heartfelt appreciation to Nollywood industry and Nigerians at large for the support and prayers during the trying period.

He urged members to be security conscious on and off film sets and always take precautionary measures on their personal security at all times.

The bugging question always is what has APC done as a party(I was a party member though slightly active) that gives them the audacious confidence to keep campaigns? The kidnappers were touched by the spirit of God? Haha... I understood why it's not advisable to mention that ransom was paid, but they should have come up with another story instead of using God's name.

Whichever way, I'm really happy they've been released. I can't even begin to imagine how thier loved ones felt when they were in captivity. Nobody deserves to feel that way!
