The First Bank of Nigeria Limited is one of the oldest and most reputable commercial banks in Nigeria. As part of its commitment to developing the next generation of leaders, the First Bank of Nigeria Graduate Trainee Program was established. The program is designed to identify and develop young talents who will be groomed and exposed to the workings of a commercial bank to equip them with the necessary skills needed for a successful career in banking.


If you are a graduate below the age of 27 who possesses the minimum academic qualification of a bachelor’s degree with a second-class lower division or HND upper credit. In that case, you should consider applying for the First Bank of Nigeria Graduate Trainee Program.

After verification of your educational qualification, you will be contacted and invited for an Aptitude Test via SMS or E-mail if you meet the requirement.



What to Expect in the First Bank Graduate Trainee Aptitude Test?

The Aptitude Test comprises four sections which are:

Critical Reasoning: This section measures your ability to understand and analyse arguments. It comprises passages followed by questions testing your ability to analyse the given information critically.
Numerical Reasoning: This section measures your ability to understand and work with numbers. The questions in this section are primarily presented in table or graph form. You will be required to interpret the data and answer questions based on the information.
Verbal Reasoning: This section measures your ability to understand and work with words. The questions in this section are mainly in the form of analogies and word associations. You will be required to find the relationship between words and answer questions based on the information.
Abstract Reasoning: This section measures your ability to understand and work with concepts and ideas. The questions in this section are primarily presented in diagrams and patterns. You will be required to find the underlying pattern and answer questions based on the information.

First Bank job test is administered by Human Capital Partners.

The test composition is basic Mathematics, verbal and a few banking related question.

There are quite a number of comprehension questions to be answered. Time management skills is Key for the exam.
