He is better at defending spaces than J5, while also being able to be tidy with the ball to help control the midfield. Passes forward more often, and is good at beating the press. Has a decent half turn too. I'm wary of using this word, but he's also quite versatile and can play both DM and CM.

My preference would've been a true DM like Rice or Bissouma, but that's no longer likely and we have a parade of CMs already.

I wanted us to get rice or bissouma too even ndidi but they are not easy to get. From what I was seeing on dead manyoo and barka thread about him they said he needs somebody to do the bigger defensive work around him while he carries the ball from deep to our opponent box 18 and the times I watched him with his country he always does well.
