As of right now Guehi is better than Silva. Play Silva in a back 4 like Guehi does every week and see. It wasn't two years we saw Silva in a back 4. Silva is a class defender. We appreciate his positioning and passing which shows highlights of his class from his younger years, which the back 3 allows him to show. That's a position you can play and show class as an older sweeper like Lothar Matheus and co did till 40 years old, but you will be delusional to think he will be doing that adequately in a back 4 like Guehi does weekly. 2020 is not that far away for empirical evidence of Silva struggling in that set-up.
