I have enough units on the meter but the supply is not stable because of low current. Imagine all the houses around you having electricity but you're burning fuel not because PHCN disconnect your line but because your meter is not supplying.

Finish everything before running the wires and electrical fittings. Buglars do cut windows except you have a guard in place. My build was buggled last month, wires in 3 of the flats carted away. This even happened after we mounted the gates with just a small opening left

The waist of a reinforced concrete staircase is very important cos the steps (risers and threads) rest on it. The thickness should be sufficient enough to carry the weight on it. Most times we assume a thickness of 6 inches or more depending on the span of the flight.

This particular staircase will most likely fail when the props are removed.

This stair might eventually collapse.
The strength of a stair is surely the waist like you said & it should be a minimum of 6 inches.

Yeah, I understand some prefer it that way, but not for me though. Installing fittings after painting gives a neater finish, helps prevent paint stains on your fittings...and may also prevent unpainted parts of your wall showing if you ever have to change fittings.

As for stains on the wall, this can be prevented by insisting your artisans wear gloves while working, or better still, painting with washable paints.

I'd even prefer installation of wooden doors after painting as well, but that's just me I guess.

Combine security entrance has always been my approach to all my rental properties. I implement the combine approach together with external burglary proof. Before you get to the entrance door proper, there should be a certain layer of protection. The external burglary proof and the combine approach, to my reckoning offer that level of protection and the flexibility of use for the tenants.

Though I combine mine with wooden doors (I'm a fan of wooden doors), the outcome for both metal and wood is the same but implementation might be different.
