My opinion is that FDJ is a top player and would be a top signing, but Chelsea need a striker...desperately...far more than a midfielder right now. Defenders and a striker should be top priorities – Matt Law

That striker without useful service is a waste. We can go with Broja and Havertz, then buy someone who can actually spot a pass. In that case, I will take De Jong over a striker for now.

(something Kante and Jorginho are not good at, honestly sell both off and get De Jong and Savic)

Why u dislike Germany?
That's my second team after Super Eagles of Nigeria, I like their jerseys too, I like Real Madrid jerseys but the team angry
I am inclined to hate them by default because i support the Azzuri, oil and water case,also they used to be very fast and I would have struggled as a footballer in such a team if i was a player.

 Todd Boehly called Frenkie a few days ago and he listened to him but he said “No” because he wants to stay at Barca, despite this, Chelsea are going to keep trying. (@relevo) #CFC #justcfc

It’s boely money not your papa own
You are just talking because you like the player. Will he live up to expectation with the pressure that will be on his head after holy boehly pays his money? You saw lukaku, Maguire and grealish bring booed after any small mistake because of how much they got them and you know he's very young too.

chelsea has a history of not producing flop of defenders

If there is one thing Chelsea is good at then it’s defending.
Can you name any big money defensive flop made over the last 5 years?

Even if we don't have any big money defensive flop you know he might be our first or second most expensive signing in history so the pressure to play well everytime and not flop will be on him. I watched him against brentford in second half and he was good but not very good. I hope he does well if he comes so we will not have another big money flop in our team.

he comes in and improves the defense straight up and far better than Chalobah

Injuries did him bad but he is good

many as 20 teams are interested in #Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi - there is interest from Serie A, Bundesliga, Spain, France, and the Premier League. [via @skysports_sheth]

#Chelsea are interested in Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters, but they favour a move for Inter Milan's Denzel Dumfries. However, Inter are yet to receive a bid. Thomas Tuchel wants a right wing-back to compete with Reece James. [via @JacobSteinberg]

Chelsea hasn't paid premium for any defender #yet. Chelsea also didn't have any history of flop keepers till Kepa's second season (lol courtios 2015/16 was bad self)

Expecting Chelsea’s next bid for Fofana to be £75-80m, payment structure of course will be important in such a big transfer, as others have reported, discussions held this weekend about the move and intention to bid again.

Werner wasn't made for Epl from the onset. I wish him all the best in Raumdeuter's Burnthisleaguedown, where he is expected to resume scoring.

Since becoming a Manchester United player, Sancho has played for more managers (4) than has premier league goals (3). What a player.

Chelsea are set to hold discussions this week around Aubameyang and if he could be prized out of Barcelona. Hakim Ziyech still wants to leave Chelsea aswell. (@Matt_Law_DT )

Pierre Aubameyang is in Chelsea list but there are still no direct talks with Barcelona. Deal depends on price tag and salary conditions. ~ @FabrizioRomano}
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Nobody: 8:45pm On Aug 08, 2022
Chelsea have been prioritising their interest in defender Wesley Fofana, who they remain in dialogue with Leicester City over, and midfielder Frenkie de Jong, who is yet to inform Barcelona that he wants to leave. {The Telegraph}

Chelsea could find out this week if they have a realistic chance of signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona with Timo Werner on the brink of sealing his permanent return to RB Leipzig. {The Telegraph}

Other than holding talks over Fofana, De Jong and Aubameyang, Chelsea are still looking at potential right-back signings having already shown an interest in Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries and Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters. {The Telegraph}
