Though not a noise maker like others, he was the GOVERNOR of Anambra State from 2006 - 2014 with record breaking Achievements.

ALL ARE VERIFIABLE

✅ First GOVERNOR to leave office without owing any debts. (He posted his handover notes, check).

✅ First GOVERNOR to buy 1,000 Nigerian made vehicles (Innoson) for government officials. (Innoson motors hasn’t stopped repeating it)

✅ First GOVERNOR who built over 800kms of road network between rural and urban areas. (Even though he was an opposition governor then, the Fed. Min. of Works voted Anambra State as having the best rural roads).

✅ First GOVERNOR whose state UNIVERSITY never embarked on STRIKE till now! (The SUG President video confirming this is public, and it’s been verified).

✅ First GOVERNOR to give 1 million naira each to all 1st Class graduates during his tenure. (I personally have a few friends that benefited from it. In fact, he set the pace and his successors continued with it). I can bet you 2 million naira that there no Anambra indigene that made first class and never got the money under him).

✅ First GOVERNOR to renovate and equip 500 schools during his tenure. (The records are there and he got UNICEF awards for it). In addition, he moved Anambra from the number 26th to number 1 in Nigerian education rating, within a few years. From the last in the SE to the first in Nigeria.

✅ First GOVERNOR to purchase 30,000 Computers For schools during his tenure. (The videos and picture of this is all over the internet. In fact, some opposition guys tried to verify and got shocked - HP responded that they never sold that much computer to one buyer in Africa before. They’re still in the schools).

✅ First GOVERNOR who paid NYSC corpers #4,000 additional allowance during his tenure. (I can’t prove this, but I’ve seen people confirm it online).

✅ First GOVERNOR to spent Billions of naira to purchase MEDICAL EQUIPMENTS which are still functioning till today. (If you know Awka, he transformed a local hospital - Amaku opposite ABS at Aroma to a teaching hospital, with these equipments. And I can confirm that).

✅ First GOVERNOR to pay #5,000 to all who are above 70yrs old and Above during his tenure. (I’m sure you’ve seen the viral Brekete family video. He challenged people to go and verify. The reports has been out that it is true).

✅ First GOVERNOR who empowered state's SECURITY and provide pick ups in every village and cities. (Onitsha, before him, was even worse than the UGM situation you like posting here. He ended the rubbish. He was so brutal that MASSOB blamed him for those corpses found in the River, which they said were their members he killed to bring sanity to Anambra).

✅ First GOVERNOR who provided efficient and improved POWER SUPPLY in his state. (He embarked on massive Transformer installation, which I witnessed myself).

✅ First GOVERNOR who flies economy all through his tenure. (This one no be news again, even his worst enemy keeps saying this one about him.)

✅ First GOVERNOR who reduced his convoy to just 5 vehicles to save cost. (Even as a presidential Aspirant, he travels around without escort - abeg make them no go off am o).

✅ First GOVERNOR without bullet proof car (the verification above applies).

✅ First GOVERNOR who gave his house to President Obasanjo as a lodge when he visited to save cost to govern his people. (This one no needs verification, everyone has already heard the story of why they impeached him, as he refused to waste the State money on guest houses. In fact, the UN building here in Abuja is Anambra guest house. He gave it to them in exchange for UNICEF support for the state instead of having thugs and touts wasting the state money on it.)

✅ First GOVERNOR who left about 75billion Naira in office after his tenure (Like I said earlier, his handover note is everywhere, he mentioned the names and accounts numbers of the banks).

It’s innumerable to show his leadership qualities, you can even do more research about it. I don tire. I’m not his campaign manager. I’m not even campaigning for him. I’m saying what I know.

Compare Obi with any governor outside igbo land and you will realise how much of a failure he is.

Onitsha mall, Awka mall, Nnewi mall. But only Onitsha mall was put to use, the rest were abandoned by Obiano. The hotels are Agulu lake resorts and Onitsha Hotels but only Agulu lake was put to use, onitsha hotels abandoned by Obiano

Peter Obi built orient refinery at otuocha which put Anambra in the league of oil producing states like delta, rivers, Bayelsa etc he built rural roads that connected the 166 communities in the state , 28 bridges that connected the rural communities of Anambra north to rest of the state which made food prices go down, constructed magnificent local government secretariats and healthcare centers for 21 LGAs in the state, state secretariat, never borrowed for 1 day, left state with zero debt plus billions left for his predecessor. He did all this when state house of assembly was majority Pdp and ACN but his greatest legacy was making Anambra know by his actions that politics is not a money making venture but an opportunity to lift people out out poverty.I am suprised some youths a so lazy or ethnic minded that somebody asked you to verify but you couldn’t. That’s like A-1 in mental backwardness

Everything he said he would do, he did when he became governor and unlike most Nigerian politicians that like the easy way and shortcuts to life; Peter Obi likes going through that hard way of life nobody wants to pass through but it always works for him…he is a pace setter who clears a forest to make a way where there was none before.The landmark judicial precedent he set, the first since independence made it possible for people like Amaechi, Aregbesola, mimiko, oshiomole etc to become governors which was unthinkable before then. No politician supported him when he entered politics unknown without a godfather or known political party and his messages was bad to their ears too on how to cut down government spending and use that on social infrastructure to benefit people like connecting the 166 communities in Anambra through magnificent good road networks, built local government secretariats edifice for the 21 local governments in the state.Built and or refurbished new hospitals in 21 local governments , did same thing in schools.Anambra a state the had one of the lowest male enrollment in schools then became number 1 in education in the whole of Nigeria. His greatest achievement as governor was changing mindset of the people and politicians that politics is not Chop I chop but to develop communities and lift people out of poverty.When he entered politics if you don’t belong to pdp or ANPP you were seen as a joker but Peter Obi took apga from unknown to become a two time governor of Anambra state, breaking the curse of bad leadership in the state .He achieved a lot compared to the small allocation of less than 2bn and never owed salaries, pensions and gratuities, and paid of the state’s staggering debt profile and was still able to leave a lot of billions behind for his predecessor to continue from where he stopped but unfortunately his predecessor was a disaster and he and an irresponsible wife messed up the whole place and took state back to pre Peter Obi It got to a point that most of the equipment that Peter Obi brought from overseas into all the hospitals was allowed to rust and decay because Obiano was like most conventional politicians or Nigerian big man who see government service as opportunity to enrich themselves. During the last years of Peter Obi as governor, Anambra government house became almost deserted ..no more politicians, hangers on , praise singers, sycophants who mislead leaders etc and the governor was always in office willing to meet everyone with genuine purpose but not willing to part with any shishi to people who didn’t work for it.He was very frugal with state resources with state resources and utilized it for common good to the best of his abilities….. honesty, transparency, equity and fairness in leadership and allocation of resources will make Nigeria a paradise on earth

Peter Obi started from rural projects. Rural roads (over 800km, highest in the country according to ministry of works) schools (renovation and equipping them) hospitals, security (he crushed MASSOB) erosion control, bridges to open up riverine communities, SME support through Fidelity Bank to reduce poverty etc. It was towards the end of his tenure that he ventured into massive urban projects, Three malls, two hotels and airport. While the malls and hotels were nearing completion before he left, he only moved the airport from it's former site at oba which had urbanized too much to a new location at Umueri
