FirstbornWds:true guardiola made city a fortress no doubt. but its their time now. before mourinho made chelsea a fortress too (4 years unbeaten at home). even arsene Wenger made arsenal a fortress (invincibles). or have we forgotten united fortress under Ferguson. it goes round. and our time is coming soon. I hope city wins cl before then. |

Android22:Messi has international trophies and UCL without Pep. Can same be said of Pep? |

donstan18:Messi has two dicks without Pep. Can same be said of Pep? This deliberate disregard of Pep's achievements cause of Messi...if someone made someone, it was Pep who made Messi. Messi was just a 19 year old boy from Argentina when Pep turned Barca to a beast. Pep made tiki-taka mainstream. If Pep was a checkbook manager he wouldn't have told Ronaldinho and Deco to leave in favour of a 19 year old unknown boy from south America |

amo123:I'd agree with what you said but you really didn't have to drag Mou into this. He was just like every other manager you guys had, please. Unbeaten at home didn't guarantee anything called trophy except bragging rights before he fell out with Abrahimovic. What he did at Chelsea cannot be compared with what Pep has done at city or Wenger at Chelsea or SAF. I agree with your other points though. |

FirstbornWds:It's obvious Pep is so good that his haters have nothing to say against him than make stupid petty statements like Pep without Messi. Pep has been at the pinnacle of European Football by winning the champions league...twice! He built arguably the best team in world football 09 Barca He turned the "dreaded and greatest league" to his farm yard |

FirstbornWds:Baba at every mention of Mourinho all you do is get bitter and result to downplaying his achievement. He won the league back to back in his first stint at Chelsea breaking numerous records. Took Chelsea to 2 champions league semi final and won every domestic trophy available to a Premier League manager in just 3 years. How exactly is that different from what Pep is doing at City? |

drisham:you're trying to be mischievous if you claim Man city Owners Bought Pep Solely for the UCL then the Onus is now on you to prove it, not all this coulda, woulda shouda you dey sing i've given you statements from Soriano himself, but you prefer i go with mere sentimental assumptions from you Zidanes Domination of the UCL momentarily was an outlier, UCL is not a trophy you win just because you want to how many does Sir Alex, Wenger, Mou, Carlo, Klopp, Heynckes have after decades of Coaching ? Pep didn't win the UCL in 2012,2013,2014,2015,2016 so if City really were obsessed with the UCL (as you want me to believe without proof ) ; why will they Pursue a coach that failed to win it for 5 consecutive seasons ? Pep never had a reputation of always winning the UCL,not even at Barca (no coach does) Pep has always been known as a coach that Wins you Trophies Playing beautiful football and dominating the league in the process this he achieved at barca, this he did in Bayern and this is exactly what he's doing in Man City. |

Breaking News !!! Frenkie De Jong has finally agreed to the fact that things are happening and that all the teams to have actually won the "English Premier League" either had Red or Blue as their official home shirt. There you go [@Aparicitadel sports] |

Trevor012:Maybe you think I hate Mou but it's just not true. He did well but abeg, 2 years in Chelsea and achieving his feat is good but not enough to measure up to SAF that spent more years making things happen. The same goes for Wenger's Arsenal. Even Pep is below that pecking order but surely should be rated above Mou in anything relating to ENGLISH FOOTBALL. Winning 4/5 of the league titles in this present age and time, as well as scooping every domestic title available is no small feat, compared to Mou's stint in England. |

FirstbornWds:Nobody was bringing up Mourinho except Pep haters. They always tried to use his accomplishments to undermine Pep so it is natural for us to make sure everyone knows Pep is his senior. Simple. |
