Wike Denies Suing Atiku Over PDP Presidential Primary

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has denied filing a suit against the Peoples Democratic Party, its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal.

Speaking at the commissioning of House of Assembly Quarters in Port Harcourt, Wike said he was focused on delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Rivers State.

“People have called me that I went to court against Atiku Abubakar,” he said.

“I want to state categorically that I didn’t go to court. I just want to say it for Nigerians to know. I have kept quiet. I am busy with delivering the dividends of democracy.

“If they lose election, nobody should call my name. I have told the candidate.

“If I wanted to go to court, I would have gone to court within two weeks.

“It is the candidate’s group that are doing all these things. Let the world hear. They are the ones plotting all these things, thinking they will spoil my name.

“We are supposed to be talking about winning election.”

Anybody who understands the Ikwerre man in Wike should know it's a futile attempt fighting him.

Ikwerre people are not good enemies, they have a deep-rooted vengeful disposition.

The best is to always negotiate with them. Ikwerre people are also very vocal people, they don't fight silently, they do not pretend to be friends when they are foes, they are extremely proud people.

Wike is seeking to remain relevant in the coming election and undoubtedably has great influence in the Rivers State of today. So it's in the best interest of PDP to calm him down otherwise Wike will do them irreparable damage in Rivers and other states.

Buhari should as a matter of fact, prepare his hand over notes quickly.
Nigerians have chosen the next president of Nigeria in person of atiku abubakar, cause he is the only solution to demonic agenda of the poverty party.

I love outspoken people but individuals at the helm of affairs of politics should be diplomatic....He has every right to his annoyance but his delivery is not in any way presidential...
