Russia is wooing other countries in the Middle East and Africa by selling them weapons and deepening ties. They helped Iran launch their satelite. Brahmos is a cruise missile (not ballistic missile). It is the fastest supersonic cruise missile in the world. Some countries now have hypersonic cruise missile. So it is not the fastest cruise missile. It was jointly built by India and Russia. It is based on the Russian P-800 Oniks supersonic anti-ship cruise missile.
