2023: Emergence Of Peter Obi Has Divided Yorubas. by Pauldollars(op):
Ahead of the 2023 presidential poll, major socio-cultural and political organisations in the South-West are currently divided over which of the two leading political parties and Presidential candidates to support for President.

Afenifere leader, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, has however, never hidden his preference for the South East to produce the next President of Nigeria.

The Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), on its part, is more concerned with the issue of restructuring of the country.

Iba Gani Adams, who is the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, has said the group is only interested in the restructuring of Nigeria such that true federalism would be practised in the country. He said the group had never been a political one and would not dabble into politics.

“Aare Adams has been advocating restructuring of Nigerian into regions like we used to have in the past in this country, which made each region to develop at its own pace, have state police, have control over its resources and so on. This is what we stand for. We are concerned about security and cultural promotion of Yorubaland. We are not politicians.”

However, no PDP or APC Presidential candidate will ever want to restructure this country because the current structure of the country benefits and favors only those in government.

The only option now is Peter Obi of the Labour Party who might be able to restructure the country if Nigeria youths prevail on him.

The honourable thing to do now is for the Yorubas to back Peter Obi since all of them want a Southern President and considering Tinubu is now too old and very fragile.

Regionalism can have positive effects on local development and well-being but can also negatively affect national unity and sometimes lead to conflicts. I understand nostalgia for the past as an easy fix all, but not every old solution is a viable remedy to modern issues in today’s globalized world.

The only thing I see Tinubu not having is a reasonable reasone to take up à task that could get him killed and I'm not talking about murder I'm talking suicide.. how could he sit behind a desk for an OFF interview? Was he having a crisis? He needed to be aired live for more Nigerians to meet and understand what you want to offer not like one pipe that told is from top to bottom and fools were clapping and laughing..

Away Omoluabi are going to vote for Peter Obi. Tinubu can never be president in Nigeria. He is too corrupt and too controversial.

Only one out of everyone I know here in Osun State wants to vote for Tinubu. Others are campaigning for Peter Obi free of charge.

1. Those without sense of history
2. Those that hate Tinubu for no just cause
3. Those who feel pined that Osinbajo lost the primaries.

Yes, he is your Jesus nah. Miscreants all over the place.

Just two hours into the election, you all will start crying blood because the direction of voting will show you that Tinubu is far ahead of other clowns.

Shey you see Tinubu, Shettima, Kwankwaso, Bisi Akande and others in a video yesterday? Just wait until Kwankwaso and Wike the wicked one declare for Tinubu. That's when Atikulation will call Obituary and advice him that they should both go and contest as Mayor and Deputy Mayor in Dubai. The two of them will tell INEC not to worry about Presidential election again, and that INEC should give them the money that is supposed to be used to conduct Presidential election so that the two of them can use it to offset some loans that have already taken.

It's funny how you depend on the north for votes meanwhile they keep decamping from ur APC.
INEC should not print the ballot papers yet because APC might change to ACN by Jan 2023.
