For your information, state governors selected the delegates, no delegate can do bidding of any candidate without the instruction/command of Governor.

They (Governor) directed delegates to vote him out of their will not money.

The joke is on you. If you increase the tax on traders they will in turn increase the price of their goods and services.

They still make their profits and pay the increased tax.
