Does it make any sound when you power it on? Like the type PCs make when they RAM is absent or not properly inserted. Try this, if your battery is removable, try removing it and reinserting it then power it up again. Give it at least 5 minutes even if it shows you a blank screen. It should come up 1 Like |

First turn off, remove battery, remove charger Then press and keep hiding the powerbutton for like a minute to drain bios(motherboard) battery. Put the battery back and try powering it on. If it doesn't come on, could be ram, try swapping them out, then powering with one slot. |

wis3:still same thing even if I close it ,it still on until I force shut it down with the power button |

Tunechi5:Force shut it down. Connect it to your power source them turn it on. I've had this experience before. Give it sometime. Give it a minimum of 15-20mins. |

Onyeka90210:thanks for this one of my rams had issue so I just removed it ,everything works fine system now boots up

Tunechi5: Tunechi5:If it did make it to the repair screen with both ram installed It could likely not be ram issue, but a hard drive issue. If it were ram, it won’t boot to the repair screen. The whole point of draining motherboard battery was to reach the repair screen, then you restart. The repair screen won’t come up again. You can try it out sha, try putting the ram back and powering it up, just experiment, don’t just conclude the ram is gone. It could be ram, but I doubt that. That windows missing file is a hard drive issue. Doesn’t mean your hard drive would soon crash oh, just comes and goes. 1 Like |
