CBN Disburses N75.9bn Loan To Farmers In Two Months

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has said that it disbursed N75.9 billion loan to farmers between last November and December, under the Anchor Borrowers’ Programme (ABP).

The fund was to support the cultivation of over 383,000 hectares of maize, rice and wheat during the year dry season, bringing the cumulative disbursements under the Programme to N927.94 billion to over 4.5 million smallholder farmers cultivating 21 commodities across the country.

Who are these farmers receiving all these money in Nigeria seff. The only time I saw farmers receive something from the govt was from NDDc. And that was fertilizers and heavy machines..... We need to be truthful to ourselves in this country and we will be better than some countries. If you track this money comprehensively, you will find out that half of it is in the pockets of some useless men

Disbursing billions to unknown farmers, and they say there is no money for ASUU.

We only hear they disburse this, they disburse that. We don't see any evidence. Scam government
