One of the best television shows from the classic era of American television was Bruce Geller’s Spy Thriller fiction “Mission Impossible” which aired from September 1966 to March 1973. Geller’s CIA inspired series always led with it’s powerful theme music that was followed by a the Impossible Mission Force (IMF) of spies receiving their subversive instructions from a magnetic recording tape that self-destructs after detailing the assignment. Just as the tape self-destructs after giving the IMF team it’s message so will those oppressors of Black people implode under the weight of a dying empire that lacks the necessary will or desire to reform and repair itself. As far as Black, people are concerned, our IMF team is a sinister cabal of traitors who have accepted the impossible mission to keep us down and maintain white supremacy and extreme social injustice for a few crumbs, a few dollars, a few interracial trysts, and temporary white acceptance garnered at the expense of our collective survival.

A Baltimore County judge denied bail Tuesday for James Weems Jr., who faces 13 sex offense charges involving children as young as 7 years old.

Police said an ongoing investigation indicates the alleged crimes took place at a day care facility his wife runs in Owings Mills, and authorities believe there are more victims. Court testimony indicates police are interested in talking with 93 clients of the day care.


Weems, 57, a retired Baltimore City police officer and former Marine, was dressed in an orange prison jumpsuit and used a walker to enter a closed-circuit TV room for his bail review Tuesday. He sat with his head in his hands, sighing loudly as the prosecution discussed the case against him.

"We believe that Mr. Weems was a risk to public safety and a risk to children that were named in the complaint as well as others," Baltimore County Assistant State's Attorney Everett Bryant said.

Fundamentalist preacher Franklin Graham has launched a ridiculous broadside against the Democratic Party.

In a letter to his followers, Graham accused the Democrats of “creeping satanism,” by mainstreaming non-Christian beliefs and attitudes. He also pointed the finger, especially at President Barack Obama and vice presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris. He accused both of them of having Satanic roots.


“It was bad enough that the Democrats made Barack Obama, the son of a Muslim, their standard-bearer, but now they put Kamala Harris on the ticket and she’s also descended from devil-worshippers,” said Graham. Graham once said that Obama carried “the Muslim seed” because his father was born into the faith. However, Barack Obama sr. was an atheist.

Harris is half Jamaican and half Indian. Her mother was a Hindu. Kamala means “lotus,” in Sanskrit, another name for the Hindu goddess, Lakshmi. According to “America: The Jesuit Review,” Harris is a practicing Baptist married to a Jewish man.

“When running for president last year, she often used the New Testament parable of the good Samaritan,” said America. “Jesus tells the parable about an outsider who helps a man beaten and left on the side of the road. Harris has said it has helped her clarify who one’s ‘neighbor’ is.”

But that wasn’t enough for hard-core fundamentalists such as Rick Wiles, a conspiracy theorist who has made anti-Semitic comments.

According to Right Wing Watch, Wiles claims Harris is cursed because she’s named after a pagan goddess.

“She was named for a Hindu goddess,” said Wiles. “Is that who we’re electing? A Hindu goddess?”
