No, I'm not absolving the 4 musketeers of their 1hr+ butchering of Doyin. Far from that. Me feeling bad for Doyin shows you that I don't approve of it.

What I meant by Doyin's mistakes is that she doesn't realize who likes her and who dislikes her. The same Shella that butchered her last night was the same people she met with to slander Kunle. She always try to be friends with those that doesn't like her.

Take from example, after what Deji told the first time she shot her shot, she has still shot her shot at him in other scenarios, even you got tired of it. A wise person would've recognized when it's time to stop.

Another example is after the breakfast that Deji and Dotun served her and she vowed not to be close to either of them to Allyson, she still went back to be playful with them a day later. Wisdom entails she sees them for who they are and keep her distance while keeping it cordial. The Deji friendship has brought her riducle and if she's wise, she'd keep her distance.

Even opening up to Sheggz has given Bella to chutzpah to drag Doyin. When she realized that Sheggz was with Bella and knowing the kind of person Sheggz is, she shouldn't have told him her feelings. Sheggz will always use it against her if she stands up to him like she did during the Sheggz and Adekunle early weeks disagreement.

Same thing happened to Allyson who has moved from Kunle to Deji briefly and Hermes. They made fun of her last night too. Self-respect and self-awareness is very important in life and Doyin lacks them because she's naturally a kind-hearted person and tries to see good in people generally without seeing the bigger picture.

Kunle's mistake was not going to meet Chichi, his fault was getting mad and coming to her. He'd have addressed her madness in a calm way and walked away after denying Chichi's accusation. He should handle his anger, it's getting out of hand.


Edited: Chichi was 100% wrong too for her transfer of aggression to Kunle and insulting him.

Beorn, it obvious you’ve not really been watching the show cos there are a number of incorrect things in this post. But I’d let it go cos I know it’s not coming from a bad place.

Lol pity? Nope. Sege was very pivotal to the slandering but executed it strategically.. He would start it, leave the slandering for the ladies, then talk about how perfect of a person he is..

I said Sheggz was the only one amongst them that had a BIT of pity for Doyin. Keyword is BIT.

He's the only that defended Doyin and tried to see things from her POV.

For example, Bella brought up what Doyin innocently said to Sheggz that now that Groovy is around, he'd seen a guy to gist with regularly as Sheggz is usually with Bella and don't usually spend time with other guys. This was an innocent statement and last night when Shella were discussing with Groovy and Chomzy came into their room, Chomzy also made a similar statement that "Sheggz is always with Bella" in reponse to Groovy's observation that Chichi and Chomzy spends more time together despite the fact that Bella and Chomzy are besties. So, you can see that Doyin meant no harm.

But Bella took it up to slander Doyin and Sheggz intervened. Firstly correcting Bella on how Doyin spoke those words and then trying to explain that Doyin didn't mean it that way but Bella overlooked it and continue finding fault in that statement, making it look like Doyin is insinuating that Sheggz is lonely. I expected Sheggz to speak up firmly to defend Doyin further further but he didn't. But then the fact he could defend Doyin briefly and have one or two kind words for her counts for me. It doesn't mean he didn't contribute in the Doyin slander but he was more merciful and reasonable than Bella and Chichi who were out to trip Doyin apart.
