Like I said brother, nuance/context is important. Samsung Galaxy Notes are flagship but they are now discontinued.

Samsung isn't going to be making them anymore.

Some top android devices go with base device, then the Pro version and then Pro+. Wtf?? They just up the same product in two steps.
All of it just boils down to marketing and ways to milk the innocent consumers. Companies are just out there to make profit, finding a seemingly "classy name" is another way to achieve that.
Below is the 2G ram itel P38 "pro". I think we should start by defining what pro phones stand for.

Samsung called it the A series as it considers this series low budget. Especially when compared to the S or Note series.

You cannot compare any A series to the S series. The gap is too wide. S series are all flagships or you could even call them super flagships. The best A series on the other hand is an upper midranger.

Now within that A series, the devices there have different grades. Here's how to know them.

Anything A20 and below is Entry level.

Anything A30 and below is Budget.

Anything A50 and below is lower midrange

Anything above A50 is upper midrange

Easy as that.
