A friend of mine called me that she applied for a job with INTEGRATED VECTOR MANAGEMENT, in Uyo.

Luckily, she was successful but she became sceptical when they asked her to pay #8,500 for the induction fee.

She is worried that why would a company that want to hire her ask her to pay for a T-shirt and materials for her induction training.

Please I would love to know if anyone can verify if they are legit so I can make a decision.

Let them deduct it from her first salary if they are serious

No serious company asks you to pay any money before employing you. This is either a scam or a wretched company whose job she shouldn't even accept in the first place. Run away as fast as possible. A company that can't afford shikini 8.5k for branded shirts for its employees is not a serious company, that's if it's not scam.

The man said their company "quest global company" located in Lagos is reciuiting, that am to pay 560k for my training after that i will be employed and that there's every tendency for me to be relocated abroad. According to him the company pays in dollars and they will prepare my international passport with part of the money.
Nairalanders have been confused because I don't want to loose any opportunity through ignorance.

Anything that they ask you to pay before getting money or employed is usually scam

Simple, it's like applying for loan, and they ask you to pay a setting amount before you get the loan.

Even when you borrow money from MTN, they usually deduct their charge from the amount you borrowed.

So this shit right here doesn't look legit to me. SCAMMERS everywhere!
