My phone has just been stolen , I do not have any bank app in the phone , is it possible for the thief so steal money from my account . I don't use ussd, I have have sms alert on the phone . The phone is passwarded . They have switched it off. Please I need advice as I cannot go to the bank right now as it is now ,banks have closed for the day .

Yes it is very possible to hack ur bank account....
The thief will just simply install and activate your bank app into ur phone.
It is very easy. Ur alerts points ur bank and few digits of your account number.
Using an app on playstore (name withheld). He/she will valid ur account number using your account name.. mind u, ur pin is not even needed to move ur cash

Do u have Gmail accounts installed in the phone?
If yes, simply login to Android.com
And sign in with the Gmail account installed in ur phone.

You will see the last location logins into the phone.

It is possible. they can put your sim in another phone and test every bank USSD to see which one would work. Or they could download bank apps on the other phones and use it to steal your money. Remember they can receive your OTP on your phone. You should make moves right away.
