Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers, is reportedly meeting with Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Paris, France.

Insiders told TheCable that Samuel Ortom, governor of Benue; Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia, and other PDP stalwarts loyal to Wike are also attending the meeting.

Wike and his team were said to have travelled out of Nigeria early Monday morning.

“This explains why both Governor Nyesom Wike, who is a leading member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), and the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu were both absent at the opening of the ongoing NBA conference in Lagos,” the sources said.

They travelled to France during NBA conference. Why not wait to travel after the conference? Let's not fool ourselves - every Nairalander knew that Tinubu was never going to attend and he never did.
