Pls I need advice from the pros and experienced video editors in the house. Will After Effects run on HP folio 9470M? (Core i5, 8g ram, 500Hdd) I'm a Graphics Designer and I just want to be doing motion Graphics (animated flyers and simple 2d logo animations) for now cos i cannot afford all those high profile i7 laptops with SSD and high GPU

So, is the HP folio suitable for the task? If not, I'll also need suggestions for any suitable laptop within the range of 100 - 150k for the job.

Even 8gb RAM is too low. 16gb is safer.

It'll handle after effects (2D) well, but rendering is where the frustration lies.


Make sure you dedicate the whole laptop to just after effects...
