The boys respect him on the field. The problem so far has been synergy. The McFred pivot is criminal for starters. Without a good midfield, the entire team falls apart in modern football. If you have Casemiro, FdJ, and Eriksen in this midfield instead of McT, Eriksen, and Bruno; you'll see Elanga become peak Sterling. Sancho become peak Henry. Even Rashy ball go get head.

This has been Ron's problem since he left Madrid. Terrible midfield. And since Ronaldo is Ronaldo, the expectation is that even if he plays with a Championship level midfield, he should score tons and the entire team should be on fire.

If I were Ten Hag, I will demand Cody Gakpo, Antony and Depay in to boost the attacking options. Rashford and Elanga should be playing insignificant minutes since one of them in Sancho has to play due to his price-tag.
