That is perhaps a bigger reality check for forging any well rounded and balanced society that keeps attracting the best and making progress in spite of all the problems confronting Nigeria.

Other regions need to wake up. Just imagine if the 3 or 4 regions were still holding sway in the regional system of government. Ah! General Aguiyi Ironsi through his ill-advised decree 34 did the southwest, and indeed all other regions of Nigeria, a very strong thing!
