After the latest attacks by the US military in Syria, the New York Times reports that senior American officials told Iranian officials through private channels that they have no intention of escalating tensions between the countries, but only to ensure the preservation of the lives of US soldiers and citizens - after receiving indications of Additional potential attacks against them, said a senior American. The Israeli Mossad estimate: nuclear agreement - in the coming weeks; Israel will step up its activities against Iran A new nuclear agreement between Iran and the powers seems closer than ever, after the significant progress in the list of demands sent between the parties. The Mossad presented Prime Minister Lapid with an assessment according to which the agreement will be signed in the near future, within a few days to several weeks. At the same time, the Mossad and the IDF will be prepared for a line of action on, among other things, the increase of Israeli activity throughout the Middle East against Iran. This will include thwarting Iranian terrorism, thwarting the smuggling of Iranian weapons to all countries and organizations in the region - and not just activity on Iranian soil. It can be assumed that the Mossad and the IDF have built extensive and significant infrastructures in a number of countries throughout the Middle East. These infrastructures will allow them to do what we have seen, including intelligence and operational penetration into the Revolutionary Guards in Iran and a much wider maneuverability in a long list of countries. The Syrian Center for Monitoring Human Rights updated today (Saturday) that in an attack attributed to Israel on Thursday evening in the area of Masyaf in western Syria, a missile depot used by the Revolutionary Guards was destroyed. The monitoring center estimated that there were "more than a thousand missiles" in the warehouse, and noted that the secondary explosions after the attack lasted for about six hours. "Medium-range surface-to-surface missiles were stored at the site, which were produced at the center for scientific research there, under the supervision of Iranian officers," the monitoring center reported, emphasizing that "there were also Iranian missiles at the site, which have been transferred to the warehouse for months." According to the monitoring center, 14 civilians were injured in the attack. Earlier, Moscow also referred to an attack attributed to Israel in the Masyaf area, and claimed that four Israeli planes launched a total of four cruise missiles and 16 guided aerial bombs. According to the Russians, the Syrian army used Russian-made air defense systems and managed to intercept two missiles and seven bombs. (Ynet) |

Yesterday we hinted for the first time that Israel attacked Masyaf, a central underground complex built by Iran to allow the Syrian Agency for Scientific Research to accumulate in a protected manner, thousands of components to assemble many hundreds of precision missiles and from there to gradually smuggle them to Hezbollah in Lebanon. The attack demonstrated the ability to also attack underground Iranian factories. (Inteli Times)

Iran And Russia Move To Create A Global Natural Gas Cartel The US$40 billion memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed last month between Gazprom and the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) is a stepping stone to enabling Russia and Iran to implement their long-held plan to be the core participants in a global cartel for gas suppliers in the same mold as the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) for oil suppliers. With a foundation in the current Gulf Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), this ‘Gas OPEC’ would allow for the coordination of an extraordinary proportion of the world’s gas reserves and control over gas prices in the coming years. Occupying the number one and number two positions in the world’s largest gas reserves table, respectively – Russia with just under 48 trillion cubic meters (tcm) and Iran with nearly 34 tcm – the two countries are in an ideal position to do this. The Russia-Iran alliance, as evidenced in the most recent multi-faceted MoU between Gazprom and the NIOC, wants to control as much of the two key elements in the global supply matrix – gas supplied over land via pipelines and gas supplied via ships in liquefied natural gas (LNG) - as possible. According to a statement last week from Hamid Hosseini, chairman of Iran’s Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Products Exporters’ Union, in Tehran, after the Gazprom-NIOC MoU had been signed: “Now the Russians have come to the conclusion that the consumption of gas in the world will increase and the tendency towards consumption of LNG has increased and they alone are not able to meet the world’s demand, so there is no room left for gas competition [between Russia and Iran].” He added: “The winner of the Russia-Ukraine war is the United States, and it will capture the European market, so if Iran and Russia can reduce the influence of the United States in the oil, gas and product markets by working together, it will benefit both countries.” (Oil Price) |

The Israeli attack in Syria last Thursday was before dark. What was attacked and why in broad daylight? Last Thursday, Israeli warplanes launched a number of missiles at military sites belonging to the Iranian Quds Force in the rural areas of Tartus and in the area of the scientific research center in Masaif, located in Hama province in central Syria. According to Arab sources, the scientific research center in Sayyif and the missile depots of the Quds Force in the Wadi al-Ayon area of Tartus were among those bombed, as both are important for the precision missile project that Iran is trying to produce. According to the same reports, over 1,000 missiles that were stored at the site were detonated in this attack, with secondary explosions continuing many hours after the attack. So why in daylight? Israel, as part of the Air Force in the face of Iran's strengthening in Syria, has decided to raise the level of its attacks and is basically signaling to the Iranians that at any time when when it is needed, it will attack inside Syria. It is not impossible that in the coming days we will see attacks in broad daylight against Iranian interests inside Syria, and this when Russia and Assad's army compounds will remain out of the game, saying: Israel is clearly against Iran in all (301 The Arab world)
