Hiesence tvs are highly valued here and quite expensive. Hiesence, like other electronic companies have their strengths and weaknesses eg I'm a lover of Samsung fridge freezer but I will never advice my enemy to buy their chest or deep freezer.
Don't call them chinko. That's a derogatory name from one who is only a consumer. In Nigeria eg, any electronic company that want to survive will build around the type of power supply we have. That is what hiesence has not done. LG , thermocool samsung eg build for African Market. A fuse can burn and its normal because that product wasn't meant for such environment so its exactly true.
I bought a very good American brand of oven and never know the power output for my country and America isn't the same. Its either fuse burn or circuit cut off. There is another stuff I bought from there that sucks my electricity like crazy. In fact, almost everything i bought from america has developed one fault or the other. Power problem.I didn't know. That was serious money wasted. If i should buy again, i will go for one made for uk market. You can never use that in america . I have a dry container blender that can't work simply because they havent released one for international market. I learnt the hard way. That's the mistake in Nigeria. They dump lots of electronics that's has diff power voltage, sellers will do small magic and sell to unsuspecting consumers. Blame the ignorant buyers and sellers who will do anything to sell.

Don't underestimate chinese products. All the so called developed countries can't do without them and almost all their companies have bases in China.

IPhone, though owned by American company is manufactured in China. Some few components in other parts of Asia.

Almost all American companies outsource to China. The same with Europe.

I used to condemn chinese products too but thanks to China, we can lay our hands on some things without breaking the bank and they are good. Naija shouldn't even condemn Ghana cos we produce nothing. A consumer country is a dead country.

Most of u don't know that there are fake things of popular brands.

Most fake popular freezers by hisense are imitation products. Since most ppu like cheap things, they sell fast. Last time I planned buying a freezer, I saw same litres of Hisense freezers at different prices. I was curious to ask d seller for the large difference in price and he said: "Oga one na copper the other one na Aluminum". This is the major reason why some of us would praise and curse.

It is like naija telecom, na who near mast go get better network and praise such.

so this is the thing - Hisense TVs have a very very good reputation in the abroad - possibly because they are competing with LG and co
however - it seems they dont send their best stuff to african markets

some of these things also depend on you as a person. i have learned i have to modulate my recommendations because somethings that are deal breakers for me, other will go with them

i cannot use a pc without ssd. but some peopel can. i cannot use laptop with anything less than full HD [1080p] but some peeps can go for SD 768p

i was at fouani in 2019 to buy a bigass tv. my mind was on either hisense of lg.

hisense tvs are normally 50-75% of LG cost - but bizarrely, the 70 inch models cost roughly the same

and that hisense TV OS - Vidaa - it looked like absolute shit compared to LG WebOS.

things like 4K, true black, ai upscaling they may be deal breakers for me - but if all you will do is watch dstv and dvds bought in traffic, you will be fine. but if you actually want to watch movies in blu ray quality and you dont want anything reducing the quality of your experience . . .

as it is today my eye is chooking for LG OLED TVs - i want that 120hz fresh rate/FPS while gaming
