Depends on your choice and the quantity of item you wish to purchase. You can pay for goods and it'll be shipped to your location ( The addressed you registered with on aliexpress) , you can also use the agents depending on the quantity, urgency or value placed on goods.

It all depends on your choice, not a must you must use agents

I did nothing oh, just normal discount and coins, some of the discount are still there, The superdeal discount just ended that's what reduced it.
Check it out if you'll see the discount.

You'll need the agent's address in China, then message the sellers to ship to the address. Once everything is sent, the agent will combine all and bill you for the final shipment to Nigeria.

That's how I do it, others might have different approach too

Yeah you are right but that's what happened to me with first bank. The front desk assistant was telling me that the mastercard was good for up to a $100 monthly international spend and I came to find out it wasn't true and this was not too long ago (less than a month) ago.

I feel some of the reps don't really understand or chose not to tell you what's going on

I'm still trying to understand what the guy is saying.
first of all gtb naira Mastercard is capped at 20 @490 per dols currently so it is impossible to make that amount of payment with it.
secondly if its gtb dom card, you'll have to source your dollar yourself at black market rate which will be funded in dollars and not naira so you'll actually getting debited in dollar from the dom accnt and not naira. if the item is 10 Dollars, you'll be debited 10 dollars.. simple as that ,

no bank will allow you spend above $100, so whatever way you’ll be paying for that phone must be black market rate.
