I know a woman in this situation(was a neighbor years back) Despite the husband giving her virtually everything she wants, she still feel like she's in a prison without any form of freedom. He had/has a looooot of haters who didn't want him to win.

The resorted to cheap blackmail, slander( said he was fetish and doing jazz to viewers and housemates alike, said he deemed the shine of others as if he held them back from shine, they went tribal and accused only igbos of supporting him (as if everyone is Igbo ), tried to de-market him ( I remember the ridiculous comment by someone here, I won't mention the name though, that his stock(fish) is falling).

All sorts of ridiculous things, when all he did was win tasks, got several notable mentions from big brother himself (he also jazzed biggy), tried to control the kitchen wahala and dirtiness which one him neatest housemate back to back, got several celebrities supporting him (the support was hugeeeee ).

At the end of the day, they gathered (like the witches they were/are and tried to do alliance vote to topple him...

...but he came up tops with almost 50% in a final week that had SIX PEOPLE, that one alone nearly sent them into hate induced labor/stroke.

That's why they shalaye too much, and according to Bryann, their shalaye nor dey ever jig and it can't fit full Apere( those that watched last season will get the Apere reference.

The buzz around BBNaija has reduced this season not because of anything but because we've had almost 6 seasons back to back, repetition makes things boring.

Secondly there are far serious things troubling the nation and if I was to speak with multichoice before this season began I would ask them to take 1/2 years break. This is not a time to host bbnaija but since they proceeded obviously the out come is what we are getting.

Regardless, this to me is the best bbnaija season ever. They really spiced it up which makes it so unique from other seasons and that is why they even have a nice amount of people invested in the show against all odds.
