Moscow, SANA- the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian forces destroyed in one day 48 tanks ,46 Infantry fighting vehicle ,37 armored fighting vehicle ,8 pickup trucks equipped with heavy machine guns, and eliminated more than 1,200 Ukrainian soldiers, after a futile attack by Ukrainian forces on the Nikolai Krivoy Rog axis in the Dnipropetrovsk region and other directions.

“While repelling the Ukrainian attack, the Russian forces defeated units of the single Mountain Offensive 128th Brigade of the Ukrainian Forces, transferred to participate in operation from the west of Ukraine, and five soldiers of this brigade laid down their weapons and surrendered”, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said in a press briefing Tuesday .
