The thing is 23 million dollars won't meet ASUU demands.

The universities need far far more than that. 23 million would just buy another few years free from strikes

Strike over wanting to retire at 70yrs after the govt move it from 60yrs to 65yrs

So student should be at home because of there own personal gains

It's goes to show you the number of highly rational people in this country, even among youth.
Just look at some trashy comments here. This country may never become great with such myopic, kwashiokored- level of thinking. Imagine some of them are also affected by the strike action ( sitting at home) and they are here lampooning ASUU that is fighting for them

This government doesn't care about children at home and their education.

I TAUGHT ASUU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE EDUCATED PEOPLE. WITH THE LEVEL OF BANKRUPTCY THAT FACES ALMOST ALL COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD THAT NIGERIA IS MORE A VICTIM. YOU WANT FG TO FACE ONLY YOU? LIKE I SAID BEFORE, ASUU IS BIGGER PROBLEM THAN SOLUTION TO NIGERIA EDUCATION. THEY SHOULD BE SCRAPED

It's like some people still don't get the memo yet. Nigeria is bankrupt! It's still just unofficial. A country that's planning on borrowing to finance 2023 budget.

Even if FG paid ASUN the $23m returned loot, it's still not even up to 5% of what ASUN is demanding. So tell me how that would have changed anything. My only regret is how I wish I knew earlier how bad the country has decayed.

NIGERIA is not bankrupt our major problem is corrupt Leadership

NIGERIAN ports authority generates up to #50b monthly, but how much do they remit

Until we shun bigotry and tribalism nothing is gonna work still

All we are saying is it's the responsibility of the govt to do the right thing we don't care about Abacha loot or Tukur loot that is Buhari headache, students should return to school anywhere buhari want to go and get the money to solve the lingering issue let him go there but not to that bitchs country called China again.

Student must return to school that is it.

Keep making yourself to believe nonsense. No democratic president can loot like military. Buhari failed Nigeria truly but believe this, he is far less corrupt than other democratic leader in the past. Jonathan and Obasanjo are more thieves than him.

If Buhari is serious, he should get the agency in charge of paying politicians to slash all their salaries, including those of legislature.

However, before making that demand, it must start from you. Let's not fool ourselves anymore, Nigeria is designed to fail.
