You are going to find some charlatans forming YESUS with interesting replies to this post. Mind them at your peril. I hope you know that you are man-for-yourself. So, do what will help you. Don't mind those folks.

Note: this offer is not for fiverrians, upworkers, and co in search of high paying writing jobs.

Rather, this is for the average Nigerian who is looking for a way to make ends meet online legally with his/her skill not minding a low pay.

So, if this offer does not excite you, quietly leave. That's why I'm making this announcement upfront.

That said, this particular writing job pays N400 for about 500-word short articles.

I will give you the source to get the articles. Your job is to craft a 500-word article from it and send to me. Then, I pay you.

Everything is on WhatsApp and we have a WhatsApp group where we all converge and share ideas.

Besides, like is my culture, I've prepared a short video to walk you through how to do this task easily.

If you're interested in this offer send me a WhatsApp DM on 07061424055

I pay for every 20 well-written articles.

This is a 6-month long contract and can extend to 2 years with better pay as we land higher paying gigs.

Shoot me a WhatsApp DM on 07061424055 if you wish to take up this offer

NOTE:

If you contacted me in the past for other jobs and I reviewed your work and it was not good (I have the proofs), unless you've improved, DO NOT CONTACT ME.

I don't need claims. I need only people who know what to do, not cliamers. Please...

Lol. You mentioned 40,000 naira but you're paying 400 naira for 500-word articles and want people to write 20 articles before payment? What other scam are you running?

Don't mind the guy.
He even said I'll get paid after writing 50 articles or 100 articles depending on my strength and he's going to pay #350 per article.

Show me who you've hired on this platform before and how much you paid!

Listen, to do my tasks is not by force. If you can't do it, leave or hire people and also pay.

Scammers don't post their numbers publicly. So, count your teeth with your tongue before spitting.

I stated what I'm paying BOLDLY because that's what I can afford. If it doesn't suit your fantasy, leave it and go to Upwork.

I remember you and good enough I deleted you from my phone already.

Check Upwork or Fiverr, please.

The funny thing is that most of you that sharp mouth here can't write a complete paragraph devoid of errors yet want to earn #3 per word.

I have plenty of evidence of wacky works from most of you guys on my phone and if necessary one day I'll post it here for everyone to see.

Why should I pay you a high rate when I have to spend an additional 1 hour editing your content? Why?

All you do on this forum is post nonsense news and argue with people.

There's no history of you ever hiring anyone here....so, rest! Those who this offer is for have already resumed work.

So, take a seat. I won't promise what I can't pay. A time will come when I'll be able to pay the #2, #3, even #5 per word. Till then, I don't have your time.

Rest!

I rarely post or argue with people on this platform.

If paying Peanuts after writing 50 to 100 articles seems good to you, my brother , continue.

First -- you pay this ridiculous thing ‘cos your initial experience wasn't cool?

So you expect flawless ready-for-delivery-grade writings from a hungry so-called writer who settles for less-than-a-naira per word?

Should we still remind you you pay a miserly 70kobo per word

If no be greed, selfishness, and wickedness de your eye, why mention 500 words for #400 here and (according to a moniker) raised the bar when contacted -- offering him #350 per article?

Worse, your eventual ‘victim’ would have to submit up to 100 tasks before payment? Bloda, Haba!!

Comedian, did you just say you would post evidence of the ‘wacky’ words delivered to you, for everyone to see?

Ogbeni, You be daft clown.

Read This-- you have no moral justification WHATSOEVER to complain over quality after such miserable thing you offer as remuneration.

You open your eye buy new designers sleeve at a boutique for #1k. You reach house discover say na cut-and-sew. Which mouth you wan take tell people say them cheat you?

OP, expectedly, biko, stop disgracing yourself. Although a faceless forum, respect your moniker and your phone number.

Asking if you should pay a high rate when you spend an hour editing is a dumb question.

Pay, at least, #3/word and bring on anyone who delivers crap. The whole Nairaland go help you demand justice.

Besides, your justification is the extra “one hour” you normally spend adjusting poorly done tasks.

The [supposedly] logical thing a sensible somebody would do is increase rates to get better quality, and automatically save time and increase turnaround.

But, no, you de find slaves to deliver quality for kobokobo.

With the bolded, it comes clearer -- I mean, your target ‘audience. Your motive(s).

You're taking advantage of those who unfortunately possibly have no means of livelihood. Not like you want to pay writers for their skills and efforts.

Whatever rocks your boat!

But my problem is how you'd treat them at the end of the day.

Before you pay them their HARD-EARNED 70 kobo, You'd most likely have ridiculed them and their generations unborn for delivering ‘wacky words’, request revisions for the umpteenth time, and delay their wage . I know your kind.

Worse, they might wake up to their deliveries rubbished on the pages of Nairaland and beyond with their phone numbers and bank details. But without mentioning how high you paid them.

Imagine “come and get something for your time”... Not for their skills?

I checked your other thread, and saw 15k monthly for DAILY news update. Omo! So, I concluded, like peak, ‘it’s in you’!

Baba, na your business o and, of course, it’s primarily for profit. But, secondarily, have a conscience.

With the COAT wey you wear for your profile, you fit be one ‘man of god’ like this o. Bro, for one corner of your business mind, have small conscience

Still, godspeed!

Try no mention me again. I don exhaust my free time. Deal with yourself-- except you get job for me. see my signature

After these epistles, who you ebb?

Kul3ger, please, rest. On top of the messiah that you are forming, who you ebb if not your pocket alone!

So, relax and drink your olomo bitters of bitterness in peace. We who don't have high rates to pay can manage with the small we have for now and with those that care to join our train...at least we don't promise and fail like most of you fake folks.

If I say that I'll pay N1, after the job I pay the N1. It's better than saying that I'll pay N10 and fail or ghost after the job is done.

The rate is not good. I know that. But this is what I can pay for now. You can cry your fowl messianic cry to the birds. I will not do your wish. You are not in my pocket.

Take a seat, please!

Ordinarily, I'm not supposed to respond to this post because Nairaland happens to be my number one source of client and who knows if you'll be my next client. Or my next client would stumble on this. Lol.

You mentioned that you offer an opportunity to average Nigerians who're looking to make ends meet.

This statement triggered my response to this post. Also, you said some writers are already working on this gig. To some extent, this resonates with my experience.

My first few tasks as a writer were similar to yours.

I met the guy on Facebook and he offered me seven hundred Naira per article to write forty articles of a thousand words each.

Being my first time writing, I gladly obliged and went to work immediately. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into.

I worked consistently for forty-five days (one month and fifteen days to be precise). Sometimes, the topics were so difficult I'll have to read like someone preparing for a postgraduate exam (blog posts for that matter).

I had to spend my own money on data, power supply, food etc.

Due to the stress and lack of experience on my part, there was a significant drop in my , my performance and I didn't meet his expectations at all.

So, he gave me a piece of his mind, making it clear that I added almost no value to his blog. I still feel the pain of working so hard just to receive a fair share of ridicule. Although He paid me out of obligation, and not truly as a compensation for my contribution to his blog.

I felt bad and still feel bad. I wished and still wish things went a little differently than it did. But, we live to learn.

I'm sharing this story with you so that your writers don't tell the same tales about their relationship with you.

Kindly note that these people will spend heavily on data, power supply, food, back pain, eyes strain and all.
There's no way they can get that from the money you are offering them.

It will cost them much, much more to produce your content than you are offering them in return for their efforts.

On average, they'll need 300 Naira daily for data. Your compensation and can't cover that. They'll also pay Nepa bill and eat at least once a day.

While working on your content, sir, power supply may become erratic, distroying their chargers and they'll need to replace it. How can they afford that from the pay? (it happened to me).

They themselves may not know what they are getting into. I've been there. It's a terrible experience.

Not a thing I wish on anyone.

It may be best you review your offer or adjust the workload.

I can guarantee that, soon enough, your writers would start looking for better offers else where, if nothing is done to help them feel rewarded.

I'm saying this because I know.

The cost would soon start piling up and they'll realize they are paying you more than you are paying them.

Then, they'll start looking for more gig to make up for the cash leak. Their commitment to your gig would drop. They'll perform poorly at the task.

Then, they'll leave for a better paying gig. That's how it happens, always.

It's called employee turnover due to dissatisfaction.

I pay for every 20 well-written articles...

You edited your post to call us "charlatans" for exposing the slavery-fueled business you're running? The fact that you're struggling to get writers willing to take such low pay is enough evidence of its ridiculousness. How much do you think they'd "invest" into writing 20 articles?

Definitely, 6GB of data that's worth 1500 and last one week, won't be enough for this. Imagine they spend 3k on data (I'm being moderate with this cos It'll be more), that means, they'd earn 5k. And that's if you don't reject the articles as people like you often do. (You even reduced the rate to 350 for someone who showed interest up there. WTH?)

By the time we add the cost of fuel, transportation (if they need to go somewhere with electricity as many students do), food (since writing is a mental activity and takes a lot of brain power), and all, there'd be nothing left. If anything, they'd run at a loss.

Mr man, up your rate and pay people per completed work, and not for every 20.

Thank you for the good explanation sir.

I know all that. It pains me to pay at this rate, seriously, but while expecting the big rain this is where we are for now.

May God help us all.

This is what you have to say after everything that fellow told you. You're even saying it "pains" you and added, "May God help us all"?

You are such a wicked and shameless soul. Instead of spamming this forum, maybe you should recruit a class of kindergarteners to write your articles and give them like one stick sweet each. Then you hold onto your money and focus on editing their work.

Only desperadoes will fall for this. Too many exploiters roaming planet earth and capitalizing on the hardship in the land to enslave others.

Writers, abort mission! I repeat, abort mission! It is better to waste your time watching soap operas than to sacrifice your time for such a daytime slavery.

Honestly, I was perplexed when the guy said he'll pay #350 per article and he expects me to write 50-100 articles.
500 words count each.

The shocking part of it was that he said he'll pay after the completion of the writing project.
Initially, I was tempted to opt in for the gig but I think about my mental health..

I know I'm not financially stable at the moment but nevertheless, my mental health is so important to me.

To all writers out there, we'll surely get there.
Good luck!

Now, what I want all you unsolicited responder to know is that

1. The job is a very simple one and the use of tools is allowed so far as the outcome is well-doctored.

2. This is a pruning job and some of the writers who are doing well have already been earmarked for higher pay jobs.

3. This is not a main job but a side hustle and people are free to submit at their disposal.

4. There are no tedious protocols involvee in this like is the case with foreign articles. In fact, I give a source of where to get the articles from and a detailed guide on what to do which most of you don't.

So, I don't understand what's wrong with you guys. Have you not seen people that pay N500 to write and publish articles and there are 10s of people doing the job? If you haven't, I have.

The pay is poor...I know that. I don't deny that.

Is it not people that teach in Primary school and earn 15k monthly on top owed salary? What are you trying to form here?

Compare this to security job or 15k which is better? How many people on this forum are looking for even 10k salary work...many!

Please, please, Please all these comments are seriously uncalled for.

If it is so well with you, rather than make noise here create your own thread and hire people. Pay them what you feel is ok and I'll not have any problem with that.

But to come here and form YESUS and be telling me stories you're wasting your time.

Again, I repeat...if it's so well with you consider hiring others and share the bread. But to keep your bread and be forming adviser here, I ask you, who you ebb?

Please, you all should rest abeg.

That guy is just the typical ripper who comes to Upwork to post $3 for 1k words and use the incentive of giving you 5 stars and a good review

I pray his writers truly get better pay

It's sad that something as technical as writing is being priced so low because of these Nigerian rippers
