ObaOfYorubaLand:When Tinubu laboured, Lagos monthly IGR grew from N600m to N7b within his 8yrs. When Peter Obi laboured, Anambra monthly IGR that Ngige grew from N50m to N450m under 3yrs, only grew from N450m to less than N700m in 8yrs. Lagos monthly IGR has since grown to over N45b. Tinubu laboured to compete with other African countries and Lagos economy is now top5 among African countries, while Anambra IGR was worse than Kogi State under Peter Obi. Anambra graduates troop to Lagos to find jobs in an infrastructure driven economy, while Anambra with savings is still not topic economy in Africa. So who exactly laboured in vain?

Whenever I see the many death-trap roads in Ogun, I say "Woe betide all politicians administering the affairs of that state". But before I finish, I quickly retort : "No be some people for this same state still wan die for Tinubu and APC in the name of Awalokan'?? . Reminds me of yesterday's installment of Nigeriainfofm's 'Hard Fact', when a certain Alaba Alarape, an avid follower of the show and a Tinubu supporter, called as always to extol his principal and his wins in Lagos State. Few minutes later, same dude texted that roads in his neck of the woods were terrible and traffic was a huge problem ![]() But you know Nigeriainfofm callers na, those wey sabi how intelligent dem callers be. Moments later, a lady called him out asking why in one breath Alaba gives credit to LASG and Tinubu for everything on the face of the Earth, and in another when he is in his 'complaint mode', he conveniently forgets the names of those who put those problems there ![]() I laugh so tey my tear wan stomach.. ![]() Tribalism no good for my people o. I be Yoruba too, but dem no born me well make I support a bad idea for my nation just because he happens to come from my ethnic group. Bigotry will kill us here las las if we no change. |

Throwback:Get sense small Mr. Parrot. Pra pra pra pra pra. Certainly you are also not from Lagos state just like the Anambra people that you quoted. And you were not told that Lagos was the administrative and commercial capital of Nigeria from independence. You were not told that not just Anambra people, other Nigerian citizens from other states migrated to Lagos in its capacity as the federal capital to work and live. You were not told that everyone of those contributed and continue to contribute to the growth of Lagos where the reside and work. Surely you have not ventured beyond Lagos to see how it is in other states, otherwise your opinion about your personal Lagos will not remain the same. “ Anambra graduates troop to Lagos to find jobs in an infrastructure driven economy, while Anambra with savings is still not topic economy in Africa”. Very childish with no sense. While you choose to be transfixed in your illusionary Lagos, others venture away from their comfort zones to other states and nations to enjoy themselves. As you cannot leave your small room and parlor with a tiny window, who told you the Nigerians from the SW have not migrated to the SE in search of better lives? Please stop displaying this level of ignorance. “Tinubu laboured..”. So what did the other governors in Lagos before him do? Dance and smile? Wake up and look at your political leaders with clearer eyes. Do not vote on the basis of sentiments or tribe, if you want one single/indivisible Nigeria. You cannot have a SW candidate who campaigns in the SW and north, ignoring the SE/SS and expect him to be called the president of Nigeria and vice versa. |

Cantonese:I am a Lagos Islander. My family house still stands there in its full glory. I love how you indicted Obi. We know Ngige's start point and we know his end point. We also know Tinubu's start point and end point. Same goes for Obi. If Ngige could achieve the infrastructural growth and IGR growth from N50m to N450m under 3yrs of rule, Obi should be ashamed that he was crawling from N45m to under N750m with full 8yrs. I reckon because Ngige had put in the hard work, Obi chose to dance and smile while he saved the 2 Talents to return it to the master in the same value as he had been given? Peter Obi is mediocre at best. |

rippa:What did he do about those suffering in Anambra when he was Governor. What lasting economic legacy did he imprint on the state like Tinubu did in Lagos with many projects initiated that keep reaping fruits till today? Charity begins at home. Obi is the best in his village not the best among brilliant minds and economic technocrats and gurus like Tinubu. |

Throwback:Please I have been in Lagos since the time of tinubu Tinubu did nothing in Lagos He inherited a robust economy and turn Lagos to breeding ground for criminals in the name of agberoism. Till today his boys still kill themselves in Broadday light despite fashola efforts to try clean tinubu mess. During his time u dare not pass oshodi or mile 2 bridges from 7pm alone, else u will be robbed. Oshodi was so bad that Tinubu planted a big billboard that is federal govt project and not state govt and many more evils I can start mentioning here. I keep saying it, na only people way nor grow for Lagos una fit deceive. Do u want me to lecture u on Obi legacy in Anambra or I should mind my business? |
