A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu, has said that the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is very healthy.
Speaking on Trust TV on Thursday, Shittu stated that the former Lagos State Governor does not have any health challenge.


According to the former minister, the APC presidential candidate is as healthy and strong as anybody.

He said, “Let me tell you, when the current president was sick, a lot of people took him for the dead. Today I can assure you he is stronger than you and I. He doesnt use walking stick, he is not aided, he is walking so is Asiwaju Tinubu.

“So you can imagine the difference in age between Asiwaju and President Buhari.”

Shittu said that aspiring to lead a nation is not about age, stressing that leadership is dynamism, exposure, among others.

“It’s not about age to be a president; it’s not about physical labour. There is nothing to detract from the fact that Asiwaju is as healthy and strong as any other person around.

“You need sound education, experience, exposure, dynamism but you also need good health and we are happy to say that there is no question about the health of Asiwaju, I can assure you,” he said.

And what good has that done our region? We're just as backward as the rest of Nigeria. Poor, growing increasingly tribalistic, under-developed, lacking in good living standard and infrastructure, our youth growing in illiteracy, cultism, thuggery, ritual killings, exam malpractice, Internet fraud and all other social vices you can think about.

See what a normal human is saying, people are pouring in into politics through Tinubu. Please is politics a profession that makes people pouring in? Because I don't understand, leaving the substance chasing shadows. People are not excelling in technology, science, businesses, medicine because of Tinubu but going into politics. No wonder, south west well know for education is now lagging in it.
For your information Obi has been in Lagos before Tinubu ever thought of governing the state. He didn't go there in the year 1999 or 2020, he's been there since 80th. That has been Lagos and also brought Tinubu to Lagos also. What brought Tinubu to Lagos brought Obi to Lagos.

Are you trying to tell me that when Lagos was the capital city of Nigeria, the federal government didn't concentrate infrastructural development on Lagos state? Or is there any federal capital in this world that doesn't face development? So u mean Lagos was underdeveloped until late 90s that tinubu became governor? Omo other states if given the opportunity to head Nigeria even for 20 years will do far better than Lagos state. So I don't believe this Tinubu and Lagos state crap story. Foundation was already laid by the federal from onset. Tinubu did what he was supposed to do as a governor.
