Russia Cuts Off Gas Exports To Europe Via Nord Stream Indefinitely by bn365(op): 5:38am On Sep 03, 2022

Russia won't immediately resume exports of natural gas to Europe through its Nord Stream 1 pipeline, worsening a shortage that threatens to tip the continent into an energy crisis this winter.

On Friday, Russian state energy giant Gazprom said it would not resume flows through the pipeline on Saturday as planned because it had detected an oil leak at its Portovaya compressor station. The pipeline has been shut since Wednesday for maintenance.
It didn't give a timeline of when exports might resume.
"Until the issues on the operation of the equipment are resolved, gas supplies to the Nord Stream gas pipeline have been completely stopped," Gazprom said in a statement.
The Nord Stream 1 pipeline is a key artery carrying Russia's vast gas supplies to Europe, accounting for about 35% of Europe's total Russian gas imports last year.
It flows directly to Germany, the bloc's biggest economy, which is particularly reliant on Moscow's gas to power its homes and heavy industry.

Good. This will stop Europe's reliance on Russian gas. Europe was drunk on cheap gas just like Nigeria is drunk on oil subsidy.

Pay attention to what they're doing not what they are saying.
They are gauging EU citizens' willingness to pay for high electricity bills
Meanwhile, G7 is trying to put a cap on "Russian" oil price? They are trying to take over the role of OPEC as a cartel
China, India/Turkey/OPEC has to play along for it to work.
This was not what they were saying prior to the war about Russia. They were addressing Russia as though it was Niger Republic in Eurasia.
EU is on their knees, Russia is not
EU is now threatening their own citizens who are planning to protest against all their WEF measures to impoverish the middle-class.
We are in agreement, Putin need to play all his cards and bring the EU down, so that all the WEF elected politicians will face the anger of their people
