Whenever Buhari’s government makes any agreement, I don't need a prophet to tell me that it won't materialise.

They make promises you and I know that they will not keep. Besides the country is broke to the teeth. Where will they get the money to meet this agreement.

Global Steel, which is linked to India’s Mittal family, had between 2004 and 2007 acquired rights to Nigeria’s entire state steel industry via five major concessions and share purchase contracts.

The deal also included access to Nigeria’s iron ore reserves and the central railway network. But in 2008, the government of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua terminated the contracts
.

Global Steel sought arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce, Court of Arbitration in Paris the same year.

Why do you guys always jump to comment without having a good understanding of the issues? Read and stop embarrassing yourself. Buhari is simply clearing the mess of the useless 16 years PDP administration that almost mortgaged every single federal asset.

Yet some fools are still campaigning for atiku and tinubu to rule dem cox of ethnicity nd religion. Naija citizens is Nigeria's number one enemy not the d few politicians in power. How can u guys see an intelligent exposed person nd still prefer old thieves to rule u nd ur unborn children? It's a really sad reality.

Who is the young intelligent exposed person please?
Because there is no one below 60 out of the contestants. One even graduated with third class from one yeye course after being part of the old corrupt system for eight years jumping from one party to another.

This coming election has no good candidates if everyone must be 100% okay.

Trust this corrupt Malami to go
into all types of shady, shadowy deals
that aren't scrutinized by others parties.

Also trust that he will pocket not less
than 10% of the sums involved.☹️☹️☹️

This is why we need a new government
in 2023 to probe the looting of our
collective heritage and destruction of
the economy❗️❗️❗️❌❌❌

The good thing about this Buhari-led FG is that they know how to come up with bogus agreements and fail to deliver at the very last.
Agreement was made in 2004, was that's Buhari's govt that made the Agreement?

So it is hard for many to read and see that the contract was canceled by a previous government and the present government only resolved the issue by negotiating 91% reduction in the original claims. Illiterates full this place.

Who sold Ajaokuta, Atiku and El-Rufai so-called privatisation programme.

i thought that Nigeria had taken back Ajaokuta in 2016 and after 7 years Itakpe will revert back to Nigeria.

Yet 7 years later Nigeria is about to pay $500 million to a bogus Indian company if this is not the highest level of corruption and state capture what is?

University lecturers have not been paid yet we will find $500 million in compensation. This is cashout by Buhari and his gang.

How do you explain the comment from The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi,

Ajaokuta Steel Company Is Back In Nigeria’s Control – Fayemi
Channels Television
Updated August 4, 2016

“So we succeeded in getting Global Steel to release Ajaokuta without paying a dime.”

He went on to clarify, however, that the return of Global Steel is for the remaining period of the concession.

“It was a 10-year concession; three years had been completed before the revocation. Now there is seven years left of the concession and all that we have done is to allow Global Steel come and complete the concession.”

Which FG? The OBJ's FG that signed the contract? Or successive govts that have not been able to resolve the issue?
Must you condemn everything the govt do? Even when they do the right thing?

What do you think Obi would have done different?
