Isn't it funny the same people that hated Osinbajo with raw passion, directed all their bile at him in advance, thinking he'd be the party's flag bearer, trying to murder his ambition even before it was conceived, calling him a "fake pastor", and a "condolence visit VP", suddenly became his fans after he couldn't clinch the party's ticket?

The same people that attack Tinubu for "trying to distance himself from Buhari's administration", a man that holds or held no position in the present government, are saying "APC missed a chance not to have presented Osinbajo"!!

Wouldn't they have skinned Osinbajo alive if he had clinched the ticket? Imagine what their narative would have been out there today regarding his candidacy!!!

The truth is, it hurts them deeply their work was/has been made alot more difficult with the emergence of Jagaban. They can see the handwriting on the wall, but are too proud to concede the inevitable.

Dangote's refinery when in working condition will refine our fuel (and even that of other African Nations) and FG won't need to export crude oil to be refined for us anymore. And they will totally remove fuel subsidy

In layman terms, subsidy is when the government cover some of the cost of a particular goods or service such that the citizen does not pay the whole cost.

The Government have been unable to stop subsidy cos Nigeria has no working refinery and stopping it will almost have no advantage cos FG will still be exporting crude over seas and importing refined fuel back.

But with Dangote's refinery onboard, FG can fully stop subsidy and Dangote refinery will do the refining of crude.
FG saves money that would have gone to subsidzing fuel and also the cost of transporting crude to and from overseas will be gone.

The refineries did just became dead all at once na.

When someone stops servicing and repairing his/her car, is it that very day that the car will break down? Of course not. It will take time.

Same thing happened with the refineries. Money meant for servicing and repairs were being wasted on subsidy and with time the refineries died gradually.

When Dangote refinery starts, the Government will let him set the price of refining crude oil and make profit, instead of them setting their own price.

Do you know why telecommunication became successful today? It is because when Obj allowed their presence in Nigeria, he allowed them to set their own price and they made enough profits. When they first came, sim cards were selling as high as N50k. Tarrifs were very high. So the network providers then made enough profit and till today they're still here. The only one that failed was the one owned by Nigerian Government (NITEL) which was subsided. NITEL couldn't make enough money to keep itself afloat and hence it fell. Same thing that happened to the Nigerian refineries.
All the gains the refineries made went into subsidizing fuel for Nigerians and money meant for keeping it afloat wasn't there anymore.
Do you know that because Nigerian Government subsidize petrol for us, some corrupt Nigerians are smuggling Nigerian cheap fuel to Ghana and Niger to sell at higher price over there and make enough profit for
themselves?

So if Dangote is allowed to set his own price to make enough profits, he would be able to keep his refinery afloat as long as crude oil is being sold on Earth.
