I am Igbo and may Not want to blame the Government. Any building is suppose to be about 20 metres away from that high tension. If fire razes the place as a result of the voltage. People will still blame government. The Igbos that bought those shop and land must have known these even before purchase.

They say an injustice to one is an injustice to all,to me it's very wrong to just demolish without providing an alternative for those doing business as their source of livelyhood.

But I could remember similar incident happen in Alaba rago,also in a certain market in Rivers.Just because the dwellers of those markets were hausas come and see name callings up and down that they are harbouring criminals and so on.

I condemn this act but only if we realise that one day we can possibly be the victims.That we can stand collectively against injustice.
