The spokesperson of the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign organisation, Dino Melaye has reacted to the statement credited to former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode who reportedly called for his arrest following controversial comment on PDP’s Convention.

Earlier, the APC chieftain averred that Melaye, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Iyorchia Ayu and members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) should be arrested immediately for recent comments made by the Kogi former Senator.

According to him, “All the PDP Governors spent money at our party’s Convention to get Ayu elected as National Chairman reportedly made by Melaye”.

He added; “This is a grave and serious matter. It is a public confession of a criminal offence made by a senior figure within the PDP cabal that committed the said offence.

“It follows that Ayu’s election was a product of corruption and criminality and so was Waziri Atiku Abubakar’s as their party’s presidential flag-bearer at a later convention which was conducted by him.”

Reacting, in a statement titled “SORRY, FFK, PDP HAS NO FOOD FOR THE LAZY” posted on his Facebook on Sunday, Dino Melaye described the former minister’s statement as “a mixture of prevarication, lack of comprehension and a voyage in meddlesomeness and idleness”.
