Aderewah:Asaba is an oil town?? You’re geographically challenged. Asaba has been a state capital for over 30 yrs… comparing it with Ibadan that has been administrative metropolis for over 100yrs is quite disingenuous.. you should be comparing PHC vs Ibadan; Asaba vs Osogbo etal |

Patrioticbreed9:The south south is uniquely worst than the rest of the sputh because with all of that oil it is on par or worst than neighboring states. Its proof that mentality, not money, is the issue. There are exceptions like Ibom but they are few. |

Forget what everyone else is saying here. The real reason is because Tinubu is sitting on the necks of Delta and Bayelsa. |

Brimstone77:Are you joking? i've been to Delta ooo. It's more developed than Osun for sure. But the state in general is not worth the hype. Bayelsa is even worse. a very small state, with small population, yet poverty rate is pretty significant. I think these two states have unprecedented level of corruption. SE & SW states earn way less, and they're way better. |

Aderewah:You must be a Yoruba. Unfortunately Yorubas don't travel around Nigeria, their greatest dream in life is to relocate to UK or US after electing bastards to rule Nigeria. If you do travel around, you will know that Lagos is a cosmopolitan state developed by all Nigerians and foreigners not by any singular leader because Lagos was the capital city of Nigeria for 77yrs and enjoyed so much federal government policies and even infrastructural development since independence, and has been headquarters of all foreign country embassies, consulates, IOCs, and other multinational organizations, so it is natural for Lagos to be ahead of every other Nigerian state just like Abuja has started enjoying same favours. Now back to your question. I don't know much about Bayelsa State but I know much about Delta because I once lived there and had inlaws there. After Lagos and maybe Abuja, Delta State is one of the states that have multiple developed towns and cities aside their capital. Asaba the capital is well developed, I am not talking hearsay, I lived there and currently own lands around Direct Labor area of Asaba and the development there is massive it can pass as Lekki phase 1. Warri is well developed for decades. Efurun is. Ugheli is not doing badly. Abraka is a developed town Agbor is a thriving town and many more that I don't know. I have lived in Lagos, Osun, Ogun, Ondo and Oyo states and I can tell you that no other Southwest state can compete with Delta aside Lagos. Only Oyo comes closer but Delta beats it. Dear Yorubas, learn to travel around and appreciate other states and you will realize that Bola Tinubu have been deceiving you all for years. If you go to Akwa Ibom, or Calabar or Enugu or Owerri, you will become ashamed of other Southwest states aside Lagos |
