Chechnya is a part of Russia. Just like Lagos is a part of Nigeria. They would likely wear white or at worst (silver which is white looking like a duct tape colour) and same military kit as the Russian regular forces.

Chechnya is part of the Russian federation. But not like Lagos. It is an autonomous state. It has its own military, police and leader. Chenchen military is not part of Russian military.

The chechnya military are part of the 141st Special Motorized Regiment and an internal military force of Russia - National Guard (different from the Russian armed forces). Although, their current leader (a Chechnya himself) is a General in the Russian armed forces.

Akhmat Kadyrovites (Chechen) military are a part of the Russian Military.

Chechnya is a republic. The Russian Federation is made up of republics, each with its own leader and its own special military.

Soldiers of the Russian Federation always have the Saint George ribbon on their camo or the Z, V, O letters. Wagner PMC, DPR and LPR militias don't.
