The hostel she mentioned is a private hostel. Not a school hostel per say. Oau has school hostels for females like Moremi, Mozambique, Akintola and the one not far from Awo hostel which I can't remember the name now. School hostel in Ife is just a little bit above 3k.

Go to UNEC, Old UNTH where unaa medical students for that matter stay & see how students pay for fuel just for 2hrs Generator. Quote me if I lie. Students pay cleaners, fuel generator in a very substandard hostel that's not even as good as d worst hostel in South West. Medical students hostel for that matter. They have EEDC light just like 3 mths in a year even without ASUU strike ó. Students pay for everything except the air they breathe. Common water sch cannot provide sef. How much more electricity. Tufiakwa.

I'm pretty sure u're among those who grew up in South West enjoying all d benefits & little &development there. So you won't know how backward your place is as you don't go there.

See the type of children we have in the society now. The complainant and those typing rubbish are all mentally deranged. ASUU has been on strike for 7 months, so the university authority can't continue running diesel or paying for electricity bill when students are supposed to be at home. Even NASU has been on strike. What is that prostitute doing in school. But you see some dimwits insulting the school and government. Children who never critically think. I blame OAU for not driving everyone out of that hostel. With this going viral, they will most likely drive you all out.

you are very right. Just heard it from a student 2 days ago. I was shocked. Now I understand why they carry every sort of gadget that stores charge to clinics when on clinical posting.

Baba, I'm a student of the school..... The hostel is close to the school.... Mainly for girl....if you read the content of the news, it mentioned "landlord" .... You should use your sense that they used OAU to gain readers ,since the hostel is close to the school....

For example, if something happen close to Aso Rock, won't Ask rock be mentioned?

I don't know if I am the one you intended to reply. But just so you know the lady in question is a freelancer with several skills working remotely from the privacy of her apartment.


The roads to get to the better place we both believe we are werent easy and I remember living in worse squalor as a student like the lady in question. Not many had the privilege and industrious prowess like you or I to have the big mouth to out people down for not conforming to your societal norms of "I won't complain" mediocrity when they have parted with their money.
