The hausas/fulanis currently have a major say and influence over Nigeria more than the igbos or Yorubas. But according to the figures from Wikipedia, the population of Hausas is estimated at 36,675,000 while the population of Fulanis is estimated at 13,167,832. This means the combined population of Hausas and Fulanis will be estimated at 49,842,832 The Yorubas had an estimated population of 42,844,000 while Igbos had an estimated population of 31,764,000. This means the combined population of Igbos and Yorubas is 74,608,000 Since the combined population of Yorubas and Igbos is greater than the Hausas and Fulanis then why do they have greater political power than Yorubas and Igbos? Or does it mean the population figures stated on Wikipedia are not accurate? |

Just a playful question, why is the Igbo Wikipedia page locked from editing while the page for every other ethnic groups are not locked? Why are Igbos always protective and very ethnic conscious?  1 Like

That’s statistics is totally wrong.. Check us govt ..
