Ibime:Nobody can establish air dominance over Ukraine cos they have a good number of s300 air defense systems scattered around the country. Those systems are very hard to evade once they are locked to a target. So even the US will have a problem flying over Ukraine if they were in the same situation. |

Ibime:I understand your point but you should know Russia doesn't really commit to this reason best known to them, maybe they're preparing for an eventual war... They really underestimate the support ukraine will be given, this is much like a cold war time proxy style war... I'm afraid Russia cannot afford to go to war with Ukraine backed by NATO and EU, it'll be another Afghanistan. Let us be factual, Ukraine is the largest country (over 600,000 km²) in Europe with over 40m people, North Vietnam is less than 160,000 km² with less than 20m people.. No country can overrun a country as big as Ukraine backed by the largest military alliance with less than 200k soldiers, Russia need at least 500k to do this... The SMO is far from over, let's see how it pan out in the coming days and months... |

China's economy is in bad shape and could stay that way for a while. China is beset by severe economic problems. Growth has stalled, youth unemployment is at a record high, the housing market is collapsing, and companies are struggling with recurring supply chain headaches. The world's second biggest economy is also grappling with the impact of severe drought and its vast real estate sector is suffering the consequences of running up too much debt. But the situation is being made much worse by Bejing's adherence to a rigid zero-Covid policy, and there's no sign that's going to change this year. Within the past two weeks, eight megacities have gone into full or partial lockdowns. Together these vital centers of manufacturing and transport are home to 127 million people. Goldman Sachs last week estimated that cities impacted by lockdowns account for 35% of China's gross domestic product (GDP). |

Are the Russians freezing Ukraine? The activity of the nuclear plant to generate electricity in Zaporizhzhia province, which is in the hands of the Russians, was stopped this morning, and the plant was silenced. The meaning will be difficult for Ukraine as a whole, as the cold approaches. The station supplies 20% of Ukraine's electricity consumption.

Ibime:Russia established Air Superiority over all of Ukraine within the first 24 hours. Russia has been able to strike anywhere in Ukraine from Lviv to Dnipro since the start of the war. The Ukrainian Air Force has been replenished many times over with "donated" ex-Soviet planes. If you guys like donate $1T to Ukraine and give them F35s, Russia will still beat them yellow and blue with National Guard and Donbass militia. -Lord |

Ibime:Russia has stand-off striking ability. From the Northern Fleet, the Black Sea Fleet, and White Swans right inside Russia. They have nothing to prove by taking planes into Kiev when they can take out any military installation in Kiev from outside Kiev. This is not a videogame or Hollywood action flick. https://www.npr.org/2022/06/05/1103168586/russia-bombed-a-railcar-repair-facility-in-kyiv That was in June. -Lord |

| Re: Gov. by ponyonm: 5:53pm On Sep 11, 2022 |
Segun2222:A lot of the weapons in the US armory were also made designed in that same era but are currently being manufactured and also have upgrades to them. Most of them were also sent to Ukraine. All those holtwizers and mlrs were designed several decades ago. |
| Re: Gov. by Ibime(m): 6:07pm On Sep 11, 2022 |
LordAdam16:So from they have air dominance to they strike from black sea. I am well aware of striking from black sea and also well aware that most missiles from that range get shot down, hence Kyiv is safe as houses, and Russia is slugging and being pushed back in a ground war without air support. |
| Re: Gov. by baralatie(m): 6:19pm On Sep 11, 2022 |
Ibime:No! Kyiv is not safe! If this Ukraine Russo war should boil over(i.e. Russia feels Kyiv should destroyed) It won't take Russia missles 30 minutes to strike ![]() This Russo Ukraine is just an annoying back and forth |
| Re: Gov. by ponyonm: 6:49pm On Sep 11, 2022 |
Well, there's about to be a major escalation soon as Russia has destroyed a lot of power stations in kharviv, Odessa, and several other regions. There's a report of massive black out in major parts of Ukraine. Up until now, Russia has intentionally avoided civilian infrastructures but since adequate power and normal lifestyle situation seems to enable citizens reveal the Russian army positions to the Ukrainians, they are now depriving them of that luxury. How do you fight in total blackout without access to power and information? Troops on the Frontline would have limited information coming to them with these blackouts. They are not minor but major hits to critical infrastructures. |

A political official in Israel estimated that the nuclear agreement with Iran is moving away, and that in any case - the agreement will not be signed before November. Officials in the United States do not specify the date but agree with the estimates that they are moving away from signing an agreement with Iran. Iran has shown that in regards to the utilization of time, at the same time as the nuclear talks, it is not stopping the development of the overt and covert capabilities on the way to a nuclear bomb, therefore if the report this morning is indeed accurate and a nuclear agreement does not see the light of day in the coming months, then someone will have to escalate countermeasures activities in Iran soon.
