The comments during lockdown did not suggest it was meh at all. Maybe Erica's fans after her disqualification started selling that narrative to lessen the pain. Yes a lot of people started watching lockdown due to being at home but the performance of the season itself sustained such interest.

If you watch the trend, the engagement level increased from See gobe to lockdown as each successive season outdid the previous. It was the deadness of SYE season that broke the trend and the comments during the season itself reflected that it was massive letdown and the general interest just plummeted.

Level up is bearing the brunt for the deadness of SYE season. If it came up immediately after lockdown, its engagement level will be way higher than SYE's.
