Please they should not do ooh. I've been waiting for SSC forms since 2021, because I was not successful with my SSC 47 application. Let's all be hopeful. Anything can still happen between now and December.

Please does anyone know if general elections can hinder the army from releasing SSC and DSSC forms next year? Like has any past general elections stopped the SSC and DSSC process in the past?

Oga just be hopeful, the present army chief is most likely going with the present administration and having managed to conjure his own version of dssc course 27 2022 as against the awaiting dssc course 27 2020, he is most likely going to give dssc/ssc recruitment another shot. My take anyway.

With the news I just heard, I feel there might not be ssc anymore and also they might want to merge the armed force together i.e navy, airforce and army. Also the present army Dssc might spend 9 months cause they are training in ribadu...let's be hopeful for one final list before the next administration comes in.

So until one of these things you mentioned happens before reserves are called?

And if I understand your statement very well, it also means that if the aforementioned conditions doesn't happen, then the reserves won't be called?

If that is the case, then that's a great injustice being meted on the reserves!

How can one be successful at the selection board, make the final lists for training, and yet can't report/resume for the training? After passing through all the hurdles and stress only to be kept in the dark, and one not knowing his/fate? Truly, this is not fair!

Or better still, if the reserves are not called, they should be automatically selected during the next DSSC course 27 since they were successful in the selection board of course 26, instead of starting from the scratch, and not knowing if they will be successful during the next course 27! That is justice!

Well, such news have been flying round. A friend of mine served in Bauchi barracks in 2020/2021 and told me he heard they might cancel Dssc/SSC. They still advertised and did recruitment same year. Guess it is a plan under development.

I heard so too. Even while in Falgore an officer said it but with Nigeria you never know.

Last DSSC 26 reserves get prepared, you may be called anytime soon...15 cadets were withdrawn recently for document(14) and health issues(1 DSSC 30 NAF)...80% from south west catchment alone...so reserves from this area shud keep there lines on...would av posted the document but don't want to post the withdrawn cadets names online due to the sensitive nature.

No idea on SSC48,only top brass at MS can give legit info on that..
cheer up!!,the delay might be in ur favor..meanwhile u can run total medical checkup or start learning French or mandarin to give u a great edge when selling ursef to the NASB..if ur selected tho
